Too weak for dips, what should I do?
Any other tips for a skeleton who just started SS two weeks ago?

Push ups
Assisted dips
There's the machine
My only other friends are limp-wristed nerds like myself.
Dip Negatives
Jump up to the top and slowly lower yourself. Repeat a bunch of times. work on lowering slower and jumping less
Okay?
Still doesn't stop you from doing pushups
Tricep work.
Oh shit, do you think assisted dips means getting your friends to help!?
assisted dips arent when your friend piggy backs you under the bars??
no just no
>being this retarded
I just thought it was when a bro holds your feet or something
lol. assisted dips don't involve another person user. Unless you're memeing, assisted dips are with a machine, or your feet on some platform.
If you're too weak to do dips and you just started doing ss you shouldn't be dipping yet.
just kys yourself my m8, if you can't do a single dip you might as well be dead, don't bother with fitness
I put my hands upon your hip, when I dip u dip we dip
Kek
I couldnt either and now i can do 10 easy so kys
There are no dips in Starting Strength.
i'm 5'8 with 6" wrists and i can do dips with 40 kg. having small wrists is an excuse. you're just weak. start doing assisted machine dips
Start with weighted dips. Use a -20kg plate
Stop doing SS
Don't do body weight exercises as a skelly.
Get a gym memership and hit up the freeweights
start doing negative dips
since I saw your comments in this thread, I will explain carefully
>go to the bar
>stain in between them
>put your right hand on the right bar
>put your left hand on the left bar
>get into position
>instead of going up using force, you jump up and only try to hold while you are coming down aka control the negative movement
>do this 3 sets up to failure
>soon you will be able to do a few reps of regular dips
>Jump up to the top and slowly lower yourself.
This is literally "do a dip." How the fuck else are you supposed to do it?
except when you do negatives you aren't doing half of the movement
KEK
There' s amchine for this where you add weight to assist you. It assists with chin ups too. Looks like this

Ok so listen up. A regular dip goes like this
>Jump up to the top and slowly lower yourself
>Push yourself up again
Negatives go like this
>Jump up to the top and slowly lower yourself
Got it?
