Alright. Self conscious guy here...

Alright. Self conscious guy here. My entire life I've wanted to get into bodybuilding but have always found an obstacle in my way. I sit here at 22 years old and wonder is it even going to be worth it? Id like to know from any experienced bodybuilders here if it's even worth me trying to lift. Do I have any potential with my frame?

Id appreciate knowing if its just a pipe dream.

Guess not...

Your frame is fine. Your arms are small but they may respond really well to lifting. You won't know if you don't try. Bottom line? Yes, it's worth it.

Thanks, mate. I guess I'll give it a shot? I think my shoulders may be a bit small though. They're at 48" but I've never lifted so I guess that's okay, right?

too late, sorry fami
Nice gyno and small arms though, you're prime for HRT

Everyone can lift and get gains. Your frame is probably better than alot of people who still managed to get ripped despite their disadvantages. So you can do it too.

Read the sticky, read the Starting Strength book and start lifting. Make sure you keep track of how many calories, protein and fat you consume.

We will all make it

Bodybuilding? lol fuck no there are kids at 17 and 18 that shit on body. it would take you at least 3-2 years to look like an actual gymbro and then another 3 to 2 to become someone that people actually look at and say wow he looks great

Gyno?

only one way to find out m8

Is anything going to be worth it? Youre gonna die in 50 some odd years.

Might as well not do it, right?

I think I already made it clear but I've never lifted in my life :) also thanks to the encouraging guy.

Yeah it's okay. We all start somewhere. Smaller and weaker guys than you have transformed and looked amazing. Chase your dream brosef.

Looking at my average family members life span I'd say I'll live up until 92.
Thanks, mate. What were your stats before you started lifting?

Before I started I weighed 64 kg, today I'm 95 kg. Honestly at this point the lifting is secondary to me after boxing and BJJ, but I definitely transformed myself over the years and feel a lot better.

honestly do it, you look like total shit. You will never look great unless you jump on gear. however you can become above average with some work.

That good mate but I meant your shoulder size hah

Never measured that before I started. But they're definitely thicker and wider now.

Js but von moger was worse than op before he started lifting...

That good. Bonus points for you being into boxing.

If you think that's worse than you're fucking blind or a retard

Von moger was definitely in better shape but his upper body width was utter shit. Just look at those clavicles...

>11 years of hard lifting and autistic nutrition
>all of the juice, literally all of it
someone post hafthor as fitspo next

>always found an obstacle in my way

the only obstacle is you
read the sticky and start lifting right now

I'm going to go for it.

Sure, his proportions are off but he was still "in shape"

OP looks like he's never done physical labor in his life

Just go my man.

Everyone is nervous the first time but you will learn to love it. There are so many benefits.

I know that von moger was still better looking and in shape but in terms of natural bone structure op is probably better.

My nigger if you just hopped on the test you'd blow the fuck up so nicely

I kinda want to build a more classic physique. Like steve reeves. I think some of the current guys are to bloated. Just my opinion.

>"hop on test senpai u'll look great"
>"nah I wanna look like Steve Reeves

He was natural

;)

Are you flirting?

good one

Steve Reeves wasn't natural? Every mr Olympia since has said he was the ultimate of natural bodybuilding...

>thinking about getting into bodybuilding before you've even been working out for at least two years straight

wew lad

just get in the fucking gym

as long as you're willing to roid up

There has never been a mr. Olympia that was natural.

...

If by "bodybuilding" you mean "making yourself bigger, stronger and better looking naked by lifting weights" then yes, yes it's absolutely 100% worth it.

Don't fuck yourself over by worrying about shit like "potential" before you even start. Most people have so much "potential" for improvement that they'll never use it all up.

How the hell is your chest so small?

You look a little like me when I started lifting. Pic related.

Just lift dude. All you need is a good routine, a good diet and motivation and you'll make it eventually.

A good starter routine would be for example the Arnold golden six-routine. Very basic stuff, but it works really well.

For what to eat, go to tdeecalculator dot net to get started, and also read liamrosen dot com.

>dat gyno

Youve been drinking tap water all your life huh
