I unironically agree with this and I'm not even gay.
Women take attention from productive tasks elsewhere. Be it hobbies, work, games, you name it. Once females are involved, the male mindset shifts and you stop being as produtive. Ego lifting wouldn't be a thing, guys would be more comfortable, etc. I believe the same is true for women.
The same goes for schools, universities and such. I strongly believe productivity would skyrocket if men were allowed to work only with their gender.
