Here's my string of retarded questions:

Ran a 3/wk full body for a month, using 10x3 on compound lifts. The middle training was lower in volume. Shit went well, until 4th week, when the two last trainings went to shit.

I'm thinking about dropping volume hard, doing sets of 3x8 on compounds, and then trying maxes one week later, to see if my lifts are peaking or not.

After the light week, I'm thinking about hitting the 10x3 again, because it seems to work well for me.Have done it before once. Is it pants-on-head retarded? Should I try a real program? Is one week enough to recover for a volume-intensive program?

Lift 1RM before and after a month:
Deadlift: ... to 195 kg.
Bench 115 to 125 kg.
OHP 75 to 85 kg.
SQ 140 to 150 kg.

If I may:
Don't go as light as 8 reps, keep the intensity and even increase it a bit (I assume it's not all too high since you're doing ten sets). Three sessions of that, then drop the intensity (no lower than 70% or so) while still keeping the reps low for another three sessions. Then you can try to max.

It's not pants-on-head retarded. Experimenting is good. Learn to know yourself.
You don't need to run a "real" program, but if you're running your own, it's wise to make sure it adheres to the principles.
