I unironically don't do squats or deadlifts. After nearly snapping my shit up squatting I realized it wasn't important for asthetics, and wasn't relevant to my physical training goals. There are plenty of other ways to train legs without putting 300-400 pounds on your neck. Sure, good form will prevent injury, but once you start going heavy enough if you slip up just once you're fucked. Not worth it.

There are plenty of other ways to train your legs, and I can still run, row, swim, and ruck with the best of them.

You guys can talk all the shit you want on my form but at the end of the day the only reason to do squats and deadlifts is powerlifting or being a professional football player. If powerlifting is your hobby good for you, but it's not necessary for my job and I can't afford to get injured so why would I do them?
