So I dont understand most of these ads but the one who really bothers are the two ones with young women getting uncomfortable with hot girls.
Is it really focused at girls that are so insecure they cant work out because there are girls at the gym who are actually serious and look hotter then them?
wtf
Alexander Sanders
>lunk alarm on yoga
lmao, the fuck are you allowed to do there?
Cooper Brooks
These ads are fucking hilarious. Also the OP pic has some lesbian action going on over at the right side.
Thomas Sanders
I jacked off about 15 minutes straight the second time i saw this ad. The girls look like theyd all want my cock and would let me cum in them and suck me off and then never talk to me again The girl sitting comes off as the "sex once a month for 15 minutes is enough for me" kind.
Easton Sanders
Gets scared and pussies out of putting hard work in @ the gym. Goes to planet fitness. Waaaaaa.
Aiden Phillips
Are these made by competitors? >We don't do the engaging stuff here >People who are proud of their achievements don't go here >No cute girls
Ryder Wright
the death fight gym look awesome
Hunter Rogers
These are fuckin' funny. They should do a martial arts one and get some ultra heavyweight to do huge takedowns. I wish I could make a living selling people snake oil while I run off and make gains.
Gymtimidation is definitely a real feeling, but the cause of it is totally an illusion. There's a certain social pressure that goes on when you're going through a work out, but it's not like anybody is actually sizing you up or keeping track of you. People will notice if your form puts you in obvious danger and SOMETIMES talk to you if that's the case. The only other time that a stranger would talk to you after that is to solicit advice or admire a big lift. Being in a gym doesn't intimidate me any more than sitting on a bus or walking down a crowded street.
Aaron Reyes
Kek
Christian Thomas
In the first gym, it looks like the big guys were inviting the little guy to join in, why is that bad? Half of these gyms look awesome
>you will never be soooo hot
Josiah Thomas
>he can walk down a crowded street comfortably LMAO get a load of this guy. Don't try to lure this in with people feeling guilty about being weak fat lazy bitches and projecting it onto others. >I bet he judges me for being overweight. He probably thinks man what a fatass. I bet he knows I fucked up my diet again yesterday and talks to all his friends about the fat guy at the gym trying to lose weight and improve himself.
Seriously fuck off you apologist cuckold
Alexander Flores
Who hurt you, user
Carson Price
No one ever comes up to me in the locker room and brushes my hair. What gives?
Ayden Watson
>that gym at 2:58 sign me the fuck up
Carson Miller
I don't know man. Kind of got carried away. Sorry.
Gabriel Roberts
lol the deathmatch one was hilarious.
Also, feeling intimidated at the gym totally is a thing, but the solution isn't to find a gym that works to limit it. We face adversity to overcome it and better ourselves! I'm terrified a lot of the time at the gym and hate going, but it's supposed to get easier in time and stuff. Right?
Henry Turner
Reading comprehension you triple nigger. Being in a gym isn't WORSE than walking down a crowded street.
Don't forget that they hired those big people to participate in the commercials. They probably thought it was funny too. The guy @0:59 probably had to do multiple takes because he and the woman were laughing. Look at the cuts and how they both are trying to keep a straight face.
Why don't you fuck off with your special snowflake fantasy where everybody understands what it takes to be a big guy 4 u?
Colton Thomas
wat
Jeremiah Watson
>Hulk out with your bulk out I actually liked this.
Caleb Williams
You know whats funny, there are more of those "fit" girls at the planet fitness near me than there are at the LA fitness
Alexander Perry
I remember feeling super self conscious when I first started lifting about 15 months ago.
Now I usually catch girls (and sometimes dudes) 'mirin when I lift since my best features are my shoulders and calves. Feels pretty good man.
Aaron Smith
These are actually pretty funny.
Also, really the Planet Fitness brand is so fucking good. Get the people who don't go to gyms (majority), lose the "real" gym goers, and get them on a cheap montly fee knowing that for the two years they have their membership they'll only go twice.
Juan Reyes
Only betas go there so they don't have to worry about aggressive high test dudes eye raping them, because none of them are going anywhere near PF.
Bentley Bennett
>aggressive high test dudes eye raping them >worry
Caleb Harris
these commercials are pretty funny, but it seems like they based their entire business idea on nonexistent problems. It seems like the only people this would work on would have avoidant personality disorder.
Cooper Martinez
I can't explain it perfectly, but it is uncomfortable for me to see really skinny women with washboard abs in a sports bra in public. It's a mixture of admiration, intimidation and almost never seeing a woman's bare abdomen in public (I'm a ruralfag). I remember going to Tulane some years ago, where most students are from out of state, and there were tons of students just hanging out in the courtyard in bikini tops, I was literally in culture shock.
Bentley Wilson
>DMITRY gets PAID for being HUGE and INTIMIDATING while YOU dream about being some TWINK CHAD
Oliver Smith
>play off of peoples fears and insecurities >give them a place to slack off and pretend to exercise >feed them pizza to keep them there >they feel good while accomplishing nothing brilliant marketing desu
Kevin Reyes
lmao my point exactly, their commercials aren't exactly doing them any favours, that one ad with Eddie Hall, who woudn't want to go to that gym >we're not a gym damn right you aren't
Chase Mitchell
that's literally how women are though
Ethan Garcia
>feed into people's vanity Instead of asking of help from successful planet fitness encourages them to stay away from them. Just fucking stupid because I'm sure they would have helped a newbie out.
Charles Miller
Meanwhile, in male world
>see man with better body >get discouraged at first but that soon passes >resolve to work harder >go home and seethe until your next session because you want to get that fucking body
Leo Cruz
I would totally go to some of those gyms, if they actually existed.
Jackson Brooks
women are pathetic thats why they have all those live laugh love, your beutiful things around their homes. They have terrible self esteem
Justin Edwards
>other men's beauty inspires men to work harder
That's a sick meme, but there's just too many fat as fatasses for it to make sense offline.
Nathan Jones
Hey I don't hate on women for looking better but I can't help how my female brain works. I did say I admire them. Even I hate the types that go on a HAES tirade in response to a photo of a slim woman with big tits. Because I'm not a coddled white woman.
Gavin Robinson
Well, if you're a vegan trap then... no never.
Brayden Bailey
>Not allowed to work out properly >Spacious locker room I feel like planet fitness is less of a gym than it is a place for old guys to hang out in the locker room naked
Carter Jackson
>We're not a gym, we're Planet Fitness They say it themselves, it's their fucking slogan. Anyone with three brain cells will understand why you'll achieve nothing in there, all it's doing is filtering the betas.
Christopher Rodriguez
btw these girls lack a lot of ass for being "gym hotties"
Lincoln Rivera
it may have been true decades ago but thanks to feminism that feeling is dying off
Luke Murphy
don't watch those commercials they will lower your test
Caleb Morris
Kek... I actually rewinded to that point, just to see it again in all it´s glory.
How do I subscribe?
Christopher Price
that second one with the screaming personal trainer was actually pretty funny but yeah pizza fitness is a fucking disgrace, definitely just one step above having no place to work out at all
Dominic Bailey
Ikr
>Gets to exercise with Eddie Hall. >Somehow complains.
Elite level power lifters are the epitome of "We're all gonna make it". They're all willing to help anyone who's willing to try.
Camden Fisher
>be mediocre >it's okay
Are there other companies that outwardly encourage people to be shit?
Asher Evans
Anyone here has the Fitness Ads Porn where girls train on Fitness ball and there is like a dildo near them?
Hunter Hill
How do we get the human race motivated again?
Nolan Phillips
PF founder = brilliant appeal to all the people who buy membership and never go might as well charge $100 every time someone walks in the door
Nathaniel Lewis
>only been lifting 4 weeks >tfw already get stares when I load up the power rack because i go to a normie health club where wageslaves like myself go during lunch
Honestly the only person I've seen doing heavier than me with squats was doing 2 pl8 and i'm on 70kg.
I've seen a couple of guys go heavier on diddly but they ALL use the side grip bar, whatever that's called.
>someone goes to use the smith machine for bench press because the free press is taken >feel bad about just using the power rack for fucking barbell rows (no one wanted it at the time) >ask if he'd prefer to use the rack >"haha nah man, you need it, you're using proper weights!" >mfw its only 45kg including bar
Tyler Cook
Memes.
Jace Collins
i finally searched lunk alarm on yt and apparently its real. ffs i thought it was just memes and shit for 2 fucking years
Tyler Martin
>tfw no death matches at your gym Why even live?
Isaiah Hernandez
unironically? nuclear holocaust
Julian Hughes
>wanting to be placed in the manlet pit just be glad you're over 6 feet tall and join a martial arts like a normal person. although most of those are just bigger manlet pits
Gabriel Torres
>we're not a gym
They got that part right.
Nolan Gray
That Kerry bitch is like an embodiment of everything I try to avoid in women
Angel Davis
>planet fitness
Their entire business model is based on (and publicized by) the Biggest Loser. I'd like to follow the shekels on that one.
>fatties welcome >once you get Veeky Forums you graduate to a new gym lest you intimidate the others >sells fruit shakes with god knows what added to keep your blood sugar sufficiently high
Just like any other gym, it oversells its memberships but at an even higher rate because they know fatties just aren't going to use the services more than a few times. That's why you're roped into a long-term contract.
Nathan Cruz
Those ads are ridiculous. At my boxing club, the guys have big muscles and tattoos and they are a very good example to follow because they are nice to everyone. An example to follow.
As for the big guy shouting in my ears, that would be the coach and it's his job. My coach does his job very well and that's why I come back.
Dylan Martin
These commercials are unironically pretty funny, I don't see what the problem is here.
Parker Mitchell
this video gave me full blown aids
Jacob Phillips
Wait. They get free pizza at Planet Fitness? (This is not a bad business plan. Open a gym designed for fatties, market towards fatties, and charge them $20 A month. Free pizza every Friday. They'll never unjoin.)
Justin Anderson
In the third clip, you can see how hard the girl is trying not to laugh. It's pretty funny.
Daniel White
>GYMTIMIDATION
My SJW-senses are absolutely tingeling. That word sound exactly like something a feminist or [insert any other sjw-group here] would say, when her fee-fees are hurt.
Triggered!
Julian Thompson
I don't understand this. I go to the YMCA, and in my location they are actually fairly swanky and filled with normies and lunch workout people. Plenty of shredded people doing proper squats, dead lifts and soccer mom's on treadmills. No one is intimidating anyone, and yet real workouts are taking place.
Jace Martinez
I agree they're not terrible. Some of them do have valid points like shitty managers and owners trying to swindle you out of your money with shitty packages and contracts that force you into paying more. But it gives the impression that being athletic and good-looking is unrealistic and something to not aspire to be. It's painting being dedicated to working out as a bad thing, dehumanizes people who enjoy working out, vilifies exercise, and gives the gym a bad name.
Austin Walker
>People will notice if your form puts you in obvious danger and SOMETIMES talk to you if that's the case
Damn right, if your form puts you at risk someone should go and talk to you. That's why we work out in a gym, to share our experience and learn from another.
This is a good thing. If you encourage people to put on blindfolds and not try anything challenging ever, there will be no progress and we just go further and further into social isolation. I'm glad there's knowledgeable people around when i work out, sometimes watching me. I've solicited help and advice from others quite a bit over the years, and as a result have grown.
Connor Barnes
>There's a certain social pressure that goes on when you're going through a work out faggot
Aiden Rodriguez
I think it was your boyfriend when he blew his load up your ass
Luke Wright
This is a viable solution to all of our current problems. Leave a pocket of humanity, maybe 1 or 2 million strong alive in some corner of the world, turn the rest into glass and things will sort itself out.
I'm for it.
Kayden Young
I saw a guy really rounding his back, like extremely rounding it, when dead lifting. He was using massive, and can lift more than I, but I really wanted to approach him.
I didn't, and I haven't seen him since.
Adam Long
Maybe he moved to snap city
Kayden Garcia
you know what's funny at 0:52 that girl from planet nigger is higher test than the hungry skeletons that were supposed to be "hotties"
Camden Hughes
good, ugly people should be segregated
Jacob Garcia
2:58 how the fuck is this bad? this is the best gym i've ever seen >no gay ass bullshit >gym bros motivationg you by trying to kill you >simple and effective look I'd pay to go there
Joshua Cruz
>gymtimidation gets me every time
Connor Baker
This shit is annoying, they are stereotyping and being negative towards another brand like theirs is superior in some way, people judge even at planet finess ,what makes them think it matters if someone judges you?
Joshua Lopez
This. I would love to work out there. Actual powerlifting equipment and environment? Martial Arts equipment? Sign me the fuck up.
Ayden Thompson
>Magnus Holy fuck my sides that was pretty good
Easton Martinez
Because 10$ a month is really easy to ignore when you never use the gym.
Parker Cooper
>tfw no bros to hulk out with your bulk out
Grayson Cook
One of these opened near my house, and I decided to check it out to see if it's as bad as the memes say it is.
It's fucking worse. Way worse.
Julian Long
Eat pizza and walk on treadmill.
Kevin Watson
That's Robert Oberst
Josiah Carter
They also do the "no down payment" or "free for 2 months" deals early in the year, and then slap an annual fee that costs 50 bucks a month or two later. Truly devious.
Matthew Sullivan
nothing wrong, I can see how it can be intimidating for some, and I'm glad someone is catering to them
Gavin Anderson
Seems like they bully confident people out of imaginary beta fear
Carson Powell
Nah, man. That was Roger Estep
Grayson Wilson
wtf is a lunk
Ian Green
Someone who makes fatties feel bad
Camden Torres
Yes. The marketing campaign is "Come to our gym where no one looks good, so you won't feel bad".
Austin Gomez
>Fight to the death with Dimitri >Shows up in the next scene at Planet Fitness Holy shit, she killed Dimitri
Jacob Bailey
I don't even know what to feel about PF.. where I live it's gym membership there or at our local ymca and pf costs very little, but I can't even check my fucking weight cause they don't carry a scale.. there isn't many gym bros besides a small few I catch from time to time at late night.
Nathaniel Ross
Is Dimitri natty?
Lucas Fisher
Yo, how can I join the fight gym at 3:19?
Zachary Long
Dimitri looks like a total bro! We need more Dimitri in my gymn!
Christian Carter
Let's be honest. For 14 bucks (including yearly fee) a month it's what you except.
Alexander Rodriguez
>we're not a gym! so it's a social club for lazy people?
Jaxson Carter
>you can workout HOWEVER YOU WANT and without judgemnt. >well unless you are trying hard , in that case we'll kick you out while making a big scene of it and only after calling you names
Josiah Edwards
I love these ads because of just how pathetic they are.
