Weight loss is a meme. The only people who lose weight were thin at some point in their life. Everyone else gains it back. No such thing as a lifelong fatty that loses it and keeps it off for the rest of their life.

If youre too far below your tdee when cutting, your body will trigger stress hormones that make you retain water and lower your metabolism. You'll become lower energy and still weigh the same for a bit while your body tries to get used your being a dumbass. Eventually, you'll start losing weight (gains) again
