38 kg dbs for shoulder press are just as light as a 2.5 plate bench is. Stop using neckbeard powerlifting standards and stop comparing people to elite powerlifters on roids

and thinking about it, with full rom it's prolly closer to 3 pl8 unless you're inclining it or using zyzz partial rom

>squattan, warming up with 2pl8
>guy sets up next to me, barely manages a triple with 2.5pl8 with legit quarter ROM, then looks at me with a smug fucking face
>work my way up to 5x4pl8 A2G
>he looks at me like i just shouted "gas the kikes race war now"

I trained at home for 2 years before going to a gym so I never had that trouble
