The initial pull off the floor up to the knees is a lot in the thighs. With that out of the way

Why is sensei so weak?

YOU NEED TO FUCK THE BAR WITH YOUR PELVIS

Everyone knows you lift with your ass, even in squats.

>>shins should be touching the bar
>no they shouldnt
It should be over the center of your foot and your hips should be as low as possible while your chest is as high as possible. If you do it like that, you will end up touching the bar with your shins.
>>legs should be shoulder width
>not necceserily
For the vast majority of people, they should be as wide as possible, while still having your arms vertical to the bar. That's why most people are stronger with sumo.
>>no ass
>what?
The illustration looks like someone cut the ass away.

>tfw a random user backs me up

Thanks bruv

>hips should be as low as possible while your chest is as high as possible
This is what hinders a lot of lifters. And when the weight gets heavy your hips will go up untill youre in a better position to lift the weight.
If you keep the hips too low then the bar will be too far in front of you.

Yeah but that's users mistake. The bar should still remain over the center of your foot.

no, you'd fall if that were true

>legs a little wider
newbies almost always pull with legs too wide

>image shows shoulder behind bar
no, shoulders should be infront of the bar. shoulderblades over the bar.
