Backbeat the words is on the street, that the fire in your heart is out

...

yes

For you.

your young and have your health I would assume

whats the problem

Get it back.
I lost mine too, but I found the ashes and there was still some embers left. And so I rekindled it.
It's possible OP.
Got forth and conquer!

>spend half a year learning about health
>procrastinating
>finally buy $1,000 worth of bench and weights
>lose interest after 2 workouts

I share the imageboard with people like you hahaha

Of course

One day the flames will fade,
and only darkness shall remain.

Re-kindle your flame, user. Give yourself to the flames

Of course

You didn't lose interwst. You got scared of putting in hard work over an extended period of time and rationalized that you post interest. See thus shit all the time being a programmer

>"I'm going to make this awesome website for my side project!!!11!"
>Moments later
>See them browsing leddit

The moment you usless motherfuckers feel a tiny bit of frustration. Y'all run and hide to your safe spaces and don't admit that you simply didn't want to put in the work.

not op here
but thank you for your wise words user

Of course

Can you repeat the question?

desu what keeps me from burning out is doing some form of competition every 6 months or so, either a strongman event or a pl meet (potentially a push pull).
Competing is fun and provides motivation.

Of course

It happens from time to time.

That's a rare wojak. Mind if I hang onto it?

Yeah, I made it.

i'm taking it anyway BITCH rofl

of course

Lifting, like other hobbies, is like marrying. It becomes part of your life. Just like a marriage it is going to bore most people after a certain point. Now you have to chose what is more important to you. The relationship you have build with the iron and the gains you have made by spending all that time in the gym or feeling that excitement of something new. Unless you're a degenerate, you wouldn't cheat on your wife and unless you're a lazy sack of shit you're going to suck it up and keep lifting.

You possess the mindset. That's the easiest part. The spark is already there. Similar to how angry people are not always angry, one who has lost the energy towards a mindset has never truly lost it. They just choose not to put fuel or energy into it. Everyone should hope for a life he can devote his energy and eventually sacrifice for his dreams, for these ideals, this individual culture and way of thinking is the thin, strong and fragile line that keeps us above the natural world. To pursue a day where they just wants to live is simply not putting any energy into anything that matters at all, is simply not living. If you can live another day, you can definitely spare the mental energy for another mindset.

i've been lifting 6 years and i have felt this at time

usually it's just life stress getting the better of you, you might do well to switch up your training goals (if you lift for strength, try to lift for aesthetics for a little bit or vice versa)

You didnt lose interest, you lack agency. Having the time and equipment to do the work threatens the fantasy that "if I just had the time and equipment to get ripped I totally could." You are intimidated by the idea that it could be a waste of time or that you cant make it. Putting in work is 99% habit, motivation is overrated.

of course

>his waifu doesn't push him to lift.

>workout all the time years ago
>lost a lot of weight, got gains
>life outside of the gym became so overwhelming that i started getting anxiety attacks in the middle of my workouts
>anxiety attacks derail the workouts and my mood for at least a week
>happens everytime i lift
>stop lifting

It's been three years but I got a psychologist a year ago and just started lifting again a month ago. I already feel better physically and probably gonna buy myself a bike since I live/work in the city. Helps that theres a supplement shop close to work that has premade meals.

I'm gonna make it
