Hey guys. Today I have learned a lesson I'd like to share with you. Do not drink if you're in ketosis. Last night I had 5 vodka-seltzers between 8 and 12:30. Normally, this would be okay. However, today I learned that keto hangovers are a dangerous, punishing ordeal. All day I have been puking up bile and just threw up the liquid in my stomach. The head and body ache was more potent than any hangover I've ever had, including my college days. If you consider keto, limit yourself to one drink or none at all.

This makes sense because last time I drank half a bottle of some jack cinnamon. The next day I went to the hospital for the fattest headache and flu I've ever felt. All on keto.

The only calories in a vodka seltzer come from the alcohol it self. Makes perfect sense on keto, considering other spirits like whiskeys tequilas or gins are sugary.

follow up: the calories all come from the ethanol, which has about 7 kcal per gram.

in whiskey's case, its to do with burnt oak barrel aging, which makes it taste a little like vanilla.

for gin, a lot of the botanicals (like lemon peel, juniper berries) impart sweetness into the spirit during infusion.

Nonsensical garbage? Add a lime and it is an incredibly common drink. The joke about only young people drinking it makes no sense because typically they go for sweet drinks. Did you just fall for the real men drink whisky marketing and never socialise? Do you even drink?

keto just makes you more susceptible to a hang over, people already get hangovers like that it's not keto exclusive. You just have to make sure you drink more water after you've finished drinking or youll get fucked like that.

You shouldn't be on keto if you have to ask such a stupid question, it's a risky diet that can damage you if you do it wrong. Go look up TKD if you want to get the most out of lifting while on keto.

If you're a guy that doesn't like dicks in his butt, you should be drinking whisky. Preferably neat, but certainly not mixed. If you can't tolerate it, mix with Coke or something and work up to it ASAP.

you might have to do it the cheatcode way of 1 day high carb and 3 days no carbs
