How much muscle should one expect to lose in Basic Training?

Gayporn.

at least three

Don't post here.

All of it

You'll probably gain unless you're a total slackjawed faggot

Before or after you get your dick blown off by an IED while your wife fucks around at home?

Is this guy from GWG ?

Navyfag here. I went into boot camp a skinny dyel 125lb 66in manlet, gained 15 lbs of fat. 4 years later got accepted to the naval academy, and after four years of lifting i weighed 175lbs. During the six week "boot camp" at the academy i lost about 15lbs, and my lifts suffered about 30lbs each. Quickly gained the strength back though.

You'll be fine. Your strength will decrease but you'll be lean as fuck.

I lost a ton of body fat. Was 11b OSUT. Got pretty skelly/army fit. You'll be fine. I found the hardest part was having an appetite. You get real sick there. Some dudes were eating like crazy. I was never really hungry though.

a decent amount, considering the only good food in dfac is breakfast.
lunch is more often than not mre, and dinner is gonna be some shitty chicken - grab that though, you need protein.

the worst part was lack of pullups lol. I went from 12 to 6, while losing about 10 pounds of bodyweight overall (no clue as to percentage fat vs muscle, but I felt weak)

Weird. We had to do pullup drills on some pt days, and we always had to knock em out at the end of pt. Also there was a pullup bar in our barracks. We were the last cycle at the old trailers on sand hill though.

inb4 muh harmony church. Fuck off boomer

>bench went down 20 pounds
>used 10 pounds less for curls
>could do 20 less dips
>deadlier went down by about 50 pounds
>six pack was way less noticeable
>I gained about 8 pounds of fat
>it took about 2 months to get it all back

>my calves got shredded as fuck from marching everywhere though

I went from 170 and beefy to 145 and lean as fuck by the end of it

Pull up drills were towards the very end, and we did that only twice or so. I got to experience BCT environment later as an XO, and saw just how risk averse everything is, and for no good reason.
My biggest complaint was lack of running. between 3-4 agr runs, 3 apfts, and 2-3 sprints, that's like cardio once a week overall.
See, I was headed straight to OCS after Sand Hill, and it was full of kids who used to run track in college, and how fast you run more or less determines if you get the branch you want lol. I got stuck with FA and hated it for 4 years, till I got out.

Yeah they did risk aversion stuff with the running. We'd do intervals maybe 2 times a week. Luckily some of our Drill Sgt.s would let us run extra even though they weren't supposed to. It must really suck for dudes with 18x or option 40. Then again some of them were retarded and would load 100lbs in their ruck and try to run with it for preparation.

fucking kek... of course none of them made it through selection

They still got to be regular 11bangbangs though, which is what they would be happy with if they wanted high speed hooah stuff to begin with. Ya can go airborne later, and get to a semi-decent environment, and try for selection again in a couple years, if you impress your unit.

Compare that with kids that wash out from BUDs .... and have to become... just semen with a job in accordance with the needs of the Navy, which probably needs same crap the Army does - mechanics of sorts.

In the Navy, dudes lost tons of muscle and fat at RTC. Big bulky dudes slimmed down as well as the fat guys. I didn't lift at the time, so I actually gained fat and little muscle. All we did was fold clothes.

Just got out of boot camp. Went from ~155lbs to 152. Did gain a little muscle in my arms, but lost gains everywhere else. Lost a good amount of fat too because I wasn't drinking every day. I'm not really lean now, but I don't have a beer belly anymore.
Pullups went from 17 to 10
Pushups went from 35 to 40
Situps I never did and will never do again, but did ~45 when I was there
My 1.5 mile went from 9:41 to like 11 minutes
Swimming went from drowning to 100 yards
I think one of the bigger guys (muscle not fat) said he had lost 20 pounds there. He won the most fit award at the end, but I bet he lost a lot of gainz. It really sucks knowing you could've been a lot more Veeky Forums if you had those 2 months to train smartly instead of doing dumb shit.

Fruity Rudy. Watch Generation Kill on HBO. He plays himself in the series. He's cool

You probably wont lose much mass, but youll lose strength. We were on probably 3500 calories a day (4500 when on exercise) if not more and I still lost a few kilos. Did come back shredded but I couldnt bang out push ups like before, however my abs had gotten a fair bit stronger.

when I went through was 5-9 193 dropped to 168 during infantry basic though idk if u going to be a pog

'bout tree fiddy.

On behalf of the state of israel and the global jewish people i thank you for your sacrifice dumb fucking goyim.

Hello fellow pede have my upboat xd

I dunno why but I went from 200 lbs to 145 lbs in the 13 weeks of boot camp. I found out 5 years later I had Crohn's but I don't think that could've been the cause, probably all the fucking marching and the sadistic RDCs that constantly beat the shit out of our division.
