Looks good user, basically what I got

>saving 20 dollars a month to work in a restricted space

Need and pullup bar

If OP's a manlet he just has to move the bench.

to do SL 5x5 it's all you need. You'll need to buy more weight as time goes by and of course this room is lost, so the gym might still be more economical but a lot of ppl would rather be alone so it might be a good tradeoff.

well... yeah

>saving 20/mo
>+commute
>+gas
>+dealing with shitty pajeets/negros
>+catching aids from faggots bodily fluids left on gym equipment
>etc

not to mention if you buy used you can get a workable setup super cheap and it will 95% keep it's value (as long as you don't leave your plates outside etc)

whered you get your barbell/dumbells and plates. Im trying to get into lifting but want to upgrade from backpack to actual equipment, should i just buy some off craiglist or something?

Yes

ok ill try to find some thanks senpai

>20$
Try 50-100$ here in Canada

Get a chin up bar and you're set

how much did this all cost?

You'll get bored of only having access to barbell lifts. Unless of course you're a total autist about powerlifting.

I have both hope gym and gym membership.

I prefer the gym over home gym, but I'll use the home gym when getting to my local gym is inconvenient.

bitch where? I live in ontario and go to a local spot and pay $25/month no contract

There are dumbbells on the floor.

Some resistance bands could be added later.

Try offerup instead. Craigslist is a shit nowadays.

pretty decent set up for the space

have fun getting high from fentanyl dust

That does sound fun

Home gym is God mode. No waiting on equipment, no commute, etc. Set up our home gym because my wife's social anxiety makes it impossible for her to get out sometimes but she wanted to lift with me.

No
Fucking
Regrets

thanks bro i was wondering why she always wants to fuck at your place

i have that same rack but when i bench on it i keep smacking my elbows on the sides so now i have to take the spotters out and put the poles that hold the bar in the holes where the spotters are and bench that way

nothing i stole it from the gym

sounds like you found a keeper m8 lmfao

Also this is now a home gym thread! lets all post our home gyms!

>plays vidya
>interested in fitness
>has long term career goals
>great mother
>endless sex drive

Still don't know what I did to deserve this. We both have our own flaws (we're both a spies with our own ticks), but we get along nicely.

*aspies

Because phone autocorrect is a bitch

>gym costs me £30 a month
>20 minute walk to get there if im being slow and lazy
>havent met any shitheads yet, everyone keeps to themselves unless you want to talk to them
>hope i dont get aids, disinfect myself afterwards

ez mode

damnn brother we got the same shit?

why not both? get this and a cheap crowded gym membership, meeting people is a really good way to keep the autism away

amazon.com/gp/product/B002EJC990/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2G88111572J8M

This thing with:

amazon.com/gp/product/B00B29E0HM/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

a quality barbell with an assortment of plates and that's pretty much all you'll ever need

Anyone ever used one of these?
bought it the other day

Yes, if you powerlift.

>wife
>social anxiety

daily reminder that women cannot be robots

All I remember is Tony having one of those.

Probably fine if you're used to a chest press machine or benching in a smith machine, but obviously terrible if you're used to real bench.

Nigga, is that prison?

...

Fuck i hate the capchas on here does anyone have to 'click all the cars' etc and 'click all the road signs' then u do it and it tells you your wrong

It did for me and my wife

Look like a fine set up to me I usually prefer a little more space I'm the type that likes to pace back and forth between sets

>not forcing your wife to go out and get a membership
>actually letting her to stay in the safezone and no confront her fears
You're her gain goblins.

Or I could pay my gym membership for two years and use theirs for less money.

>>gym costs me £30 a month
>throwing away £30 a month for life

Use legacy nigger.

money you never get back is not "less money". do you know how long term investment works, moron?

I'd also never get back the money on the equipment purchase. I'd either keep it and use it or never see anywhere near msrp if I resold it.

Shit, I wish I'd read the "for life" clause when I signed up for a year.

Fuckin leaf
Canadian dollars = Monopoly Money

Pretty much what i have, plus i got an ez bar and leg attachment for the bench. I can do
>squats
>deadlifts
>bench
>incline bench
>OHP
>leg extensions
>calf raises
>shrugs
>curls
>skullcrushers

Yeah it definitely replaces the gym, no getting dressed, no commute in winter, no sweaty pajeets, no waiting for racks

The only thing i miss is the sloots, but in 3 years i never fucked a single one of them so i might as well just watch porn while i lift at home

Don't buy new then. Buy used, if you look after it then it will genuinely never depreciate in value. Steel and iron tend to hold up pretty well for a very long time.

But then I'm still spending literal years of membership fees to have worse access to equipment. I'm really not sure you home gym fags thought this through. Yeah it's less money over the course of 10 years but no one gets paid by the decade and it's an insane amount of money up front to limit what I have available.

>I'd either keep it and use it or never see anywhere near msrp if I resold it.

divide cost of life of use. and unless you buy completely shit gear made of plastic or you pull a completely moron move and overpay out the wazoo, you will get a substantial % of your money back if you resell. iron sells for pretty much keeps 90% of it's value and you can knock a $100-200 off the cost of your average rack. then again buying new is a chump move to begin with.

you plan on giving up after only one year? puh-leaze.

how poor are you? a $1000 will get you a complete setup.

Why does his legs look like paws?

No, I plan on moving out of this town and getting a better life for myself.

yeah and then what? you plan on living in a shit apartment and paying the gym jew yet again? it's poor financial decisions like that is the reason why you are poor user

I'm not poor, I'm about to finish my final year of studies and graduate and I'm not lugging a home gym with me when i move. Stop making assumptions faggot.

And for 1000 usd I can go to my already complete gym for 5 years. 1000 up front is a significant purchase, 1000 over 5 years significantly less so.

You still have convinced yourself that this huge up front payment that restricts access to equipment is better than small payments ad infinum. If I could afford to senselessly blow a grand for a full setup the argument that it costs less in the long term isn't that strong because I'm clearly affluent enough to not have to give a shit about making the most efficient use of my money .
Just because you have severe crippling anxiety and can't go outside doesn't mean dropping $1000 to limit themselves makes sense to anyone else.

this isnt ur blog faggot. no one cares about ur special snowflake circumstances. discussion of home gym only applies to home owners. no one expects a fucking college dorm kid or other transient to home gym

Cool backpedalling bro

Absolutely

My homegym is the only thing I'm really excited about anymore

1000 minus resale moderate value of 600 divided by 60. plus not having to deal with niggers and pajeets plus travel time and fuel costs saving

>that screen
Glad to see I'm not the only one autistic enough to watch action movies while working out.

I bought commercial level equipment because I'm not a complete failure at life and can afford really good shit. I was just offering a solution to someone who was worried about the price.

Yes and no. You should be doing punk ups, so you should get the tall squat rack with a pull up bar and dip station.

Not having other people's fungus on you after training, not having to travel to gym, not having to see people with bad form all around you. These things are really what make the home gym worthwhile

To be fair he's right you're being a faggot for the sake of being a faggot.

I like way more than your setup op yours seems very cramped.

Yeah because you money is worthless here. Over there it's equivalent

Probably if you absolutely loathe the people at the gym scene.

I have a bar, squat stands, and 155 kg worth of weight at my home, but I still go to the gym to hang out with the regulars. then I use the stuff at home for morning routines and the like.

that isnt being aftluent thats called being a fucking moron

>claims to be 'affluent'
>says $1000 (chump change) is a huge amount of money

this. having a homegym doesnt automatically exclude u from working out in public when u want. its all about choice and convenience. i have a home gym but also use the gym at my workplace

It is if you're a poorfag like me

Whats that thing in the corner next to your cardio machine

i used to have just this

i dont know how you could do cardio without watching or listening to something. shit is so boring.

then i went crazy!

...

I guess I should have mentioned that my wife is a trans. So she gets anxiety sometimes in socialssettings but at home she's a fucking freak. It's awesome.

P90x can replace a gym membership

Got a leg press out back aswell in the shed

>Wife
>Trans

Only if your gym is planet fitness

nice setup brah

Say that to my face fucker

Home gyms are master race

Ya she is. We met when I was working in Colombia. Literally no one can tel she is trans. She looks 100% female. And to me she is.

Nice set up dude

does she have a huge dangling cock tho m9?

Ya but she rarely wants to use it desu so it doesn't really affect our sex life.

>preparing for the race war starter pack

Please learn how to into global economics before posting about it again

How did you meet?

that's a dope transition

feels good man.

Fan

Her anxiety disorder is severe, documented, and counseled. It's taken years of positive reenforcement just to get her to be able to order food at a restaurant without having a panic attack.

Actually going to the gym might be in the works one day, but not right now.

>slutty ugly gamer with social anxiety "disorder"
she's all yours

>projecting this hard

Sorry bro, my sweetheart is a 10/10. Stay jelly.
