>works the core more, that means less ab exercises
>works the ass less than back squats and focuses more on quads
>easier to keep a straight back doing it
>can do it without a squat rack

Literally no reason to do back squats over it.

Wrist injury prevents me from doing a comfortable front rack position, and the bodybuilder cross armed position feels weird as fuck

Wish I could though :(

>works the ass less than back squats and focuses more on quads

Why would this ever be a good thing

t. girls squeeze my ass during missionary

>not wanting a thicc juicy ass

>>works the ass less than back squats and focuses more on quads
enjoy being quad dominant and your trip to snap city

If you do low bar, it's a good idea to do front squats too.

If you do high bar, go ride leg press machine in your spare time.

It works everything the same as back squats except high intensity front squats use your thoracic spinal erectors more than back squats, which use your lumbar erectors more.

>works the ass less than back squats

and this is a good thing why exactly?

>easier to keep a straight back
Kys

Rip literally says in SS that the front squat works the glutes hard.

I don't know how to do them >.

I find them more comfortable while also allowing me to reach my same goals.

My arms literally can't do what his arms are doing there.

Do both?

Had to stop doing them becouse of shoulder pain, feels bad :

ankles aren't flexible enough to do it ;-;

>advocating squats to beginners

enjoy destroying you're vertabray

>not wanting a full, juicy, Apple ass
Kys my man.

>implying I don't want juicy glutes for loose sloots

Just alternate front/back squats, olympic weightlifters have nice glutes

But I train both.

Is that a new meme??

This.

I already suffer from anterior pelvic tilt because of my quads.

Same desu. I mean I still do them, but I have little mobility in my arms.

Also I can't powerclean for shit.

>works the ass less than back squats and focuses more on quads

And why would this be good?

Garbage excuses conjured by weaklings is not a new thing on this board.

>implying rip isn't one huge meme and actually knows what he's talking about

But I have and since then my life turned out wonderful!

Olympic lifters should do both ideally, at least 50-50 front to back squats. General strength trainees and athletes like football players would probably benefit more from front squats more than back squats due to the positional strength required to properly execute front squats. Back squats should be performed by olympic lifters and athletes though, because they work the posterior chain more, and can be loaded heavier than back squats (generally). Powerlifters are the only lifters who should primarily train the back squat instead of having an even split between back and front squatting.

Prove me wrong, faggots.

Because we have snatch grip deadlifts and hip thrusts for that.

There's no difference in activation.

because I do both, you insufferable faggot

I do leg press because I hate smith machines

...

gloots for the sloots faggot

>oly lifters do most of their volume in backsquats
No, you have to explain why you think front squats are superior, when every coach in the world disagrees with you.

Because I want a phat ass

Kys

You could do zerchers instead

>Coach L did not feel that training the Front Squat was a priority for weightlifters.

He explained that Front Squats were only chosen over Back Squats when they wished to reduce the workload on the legs in a particular workout, or to train the positioning and technique of the movement if it was a glaring weakness for the lifter.

Fucking love those, I do 50/50 front and lowbar. Can't really justify only doing front squats, lowbar is such a mainstay for a reason.
