not sure what that means. But Planks work on the internal set of muscles in your abdomen, rather than just the external.
not OP but when doing plank should i keep feet close to each other or apart? i like to keep them apart and slowly shift weight from one to the other to train different parts

Idiot, planks are the easiest core exercise. Only DYELs find it hard. Do something more challenging like hanging leg raises.

you're doing it wrong or your core is already strong enough so your bodyweight doesn't do much, try placeing your elbows or hands as far as possible from your feet, or work your core like a regular human being and do some weighted crunches
