you want quick abs, you should deplete, not carb up
Up your water intake starting about 5-6 days out really significantly.
You can try dehydrating before then but that seems harder especially if it's a whole day at the beach. Might be just a better idea to stay well hydrated the whole time.
Don't carb until maybe 3-5 hours before. Even then probably not needed. Probably just some gummies (maybe 50g) is enough.
I think he's telling you lower bodyfat helps them show, but if you really want them to be noticeable you have to train them.

OP already has some degree of visible abs. Whether he got them from directly training them, or just diet, isn't up for debate. It isn't the point.
