I've got pain in the back of my right knee when squatting. What do?

Had a kid back in my home town put his own hand through one of those pasta grinders while he was working at an Italian restaurant. Nasty shit. I have no idea how or why he got as far as he did with it.

how do you wven do that wtf

What does op stand for

Has anyone fractured a rib before?

I cracked one over a year ago and I swear it's still tender or will be okay til I move the wrong way. When does this fucking shit heal.

I remember tearing my mcl back in hs football, fell back while my foot was still planted in the turf and it dislocated and shot back in the socket. got a decent size surgery scar on my knee and the nerves on my kneecap are dead.

It's really easy to crack the fucker back open before it heals fully
Just take it easy and hope for the best

I'm cracking up at the fact that someone even x-rayed that

>yeah, it's broken all right
>Let's get a cast on that

Outstanding penis

If I wanted an injury thread I'd have asked you to post your squat form.

Squat lower, stretch the quad and use a foam roller

Over-powered.

it's still tender? well pass that bbq sauce then and let's dig in

My doctor says I have at least 6-8 weeks of recovery ahead of me and I should stop doing barbell flies even after that.

I feel they're important to my routine. Is there an exercise that will give me the same results?

wtf, is that scoliosis? Your shit is fucked up

Snapped my ankle up pretty good a few months ago after I got drunk and ran around in a forest. I'm training for SF and run about 20-30km a week so staying off it was hard. I gave it a bit more than a month and it took 2 just to get back to where I was before and now I get pain in the ankle when I go 8km or farther. I'm faster and stronger than I was just before the injury though so I feel reasonably happy about that.

On Veeky Forums it means "original poster" which is the dude that made the thread

>faster and stronger
>feel pain whenever you go long distances
listen to your body. you're probably aggravating the injury and delaying a full recovery

>barbell flies
>falling for ancient bait
Nigga

Fingers are really easy to break huh? A while ago I managed to accidentally punch a table, fucked up my pinky. Pain was manageable, annoying for a few weeks and now my knuckle is in the wrong place. Luckily I can still do everything with it without having it set, or put in a cast. I believe they call this a boxers fracture.

What do bench flys have to do with your back/spine? Anyways cable flys are great too idk if you can do them though. Hope u get better bro

It's no so much pain as it is a weird tugging sensation. When it happens I stop and take a seat for a minute or two then get back to going, although I definitely want to see the doctor again. Last time I went they x-rayed me and told me to get an ultrasound but never gave me the documentation I need for it so I never got it.

How do you break an arm like that OP. I think you either fall from a 5 story building landing on your arm or it got stuck in a machine

Here on the chans, it means "Over-Pleasured"

Don't listen to these goobers, it's not actually an acronym. Some people might tell you it means something but they're just newfags trying to blend in.

You new here?

OP comes from IRC and means operator. Don't mess with them or you can get banned.

An IRC operator (often abbreviated as IRCop or oper) is a user on an Internet Relay Chat network who has privileged access. IRC operators are charged with the task of enforcing the network's rules, and in many cases, improving the network in various areas. The permissions available to an IRC operator vary according to the server software in use, and the server's configuration.

IRC operators are divided into local and global operators. The former are limited to the server(s) they have specific access to; however, global operators can perform actions affecting all users on the network. In order to perform their duties, IRC operators usually have the ability to:

Forcibly disconnect users (Kill)
Ban (K-line or G-line) users
Change network routing by disconnecting (squitting) or connecting servers

I have 3 severely herniated disks in my back. There is a place by me that offers stem cell treatment for herniated disks in your back. Does anyone know anything about how well this works?

they just done it out or curiosity and bragging rights among common doctors

faggot

>cracking up

devilish

>barbell flies

There's your problem

barbell flies is the GOAT chest exercise, there's no problem with them

>tfw rotator cuff injury.
>still can't bench the bar without pain

Guess I'll be cutting all summer then

my right elbow has been hurting pretty badly.

extend your arm out pronated (palm towards floor)

now take your other finger and place it on your elbow, on the bottom (i.e. on the part of your elbow that is facing the floor)

between those two little bones you can feel i had been having some pain and popping during bench and dip. I gave it a little rest but it hasn't gone away completely. I think it could be RSI from counter-strike so i'm cutting back on that. Also while doing a low bar squat i think my hands on the bar were too close to my shoulders and that was placing too much tension on my elbows. I have fixed my squat form and will see if that helps. I am benching tomorrow, should I be fine? The pain is noticeable and annoying, intermittent, dull, and starts at that point between the bones and radiates down and up my arm. Probably a 3 or 4 on the pain scale. I no longer pop if I think about keeping my bench "up" even on the eccentric movement. i haven't done dips in a couple weeks.

BAHBELL

Have any of you fuckers ever considered physical therapy for all these injuries/pains? Like remedial massage/physiotherapy/osteopathy. Not just your local asian massage parlour who are only good for handjobs.

"The motor control cortex in the brain coordinates all movement patterns in the body. It learns through failure.

A good example is a baby learning to stand. Through many attempts and failures the baby finally achieves success. But how? The MCC chooses the most successful attempts until standing happens without “thinking” about it. Conversely, after an injury, the MCC adapts to a compensation pattern and holds that in its memory forever unless it is convinced to change. A good example is a whiplash accident in which the posterior neck muscles brace for the anterior neck muscles. This pattern can endure forever unless there is some intervention."

Compensation patterns are why your delts/pecs don't grow, you can't gain grow muscle if you never break it down in the first place. You can do as many lifts as possible but if your brain isn't using the correct muscles to do the movement you won't get results.

Everyone is different, there is no one answer fits all.

can any medfag help me out please? ive been thinking of going to doc for.. almost a year now. but im fucking lazy.
the thing is, once a month on average my right shoulder just goes off. i have no idea what happens, the only way i can describe is that i feel a very strong pain (worse than breaking your bone) and i need to support it with my other hand to keep it in a diagonal position (dont know how to word it better)
it can barely move it without the help of my other hand and it hurts incredibly until i figure out the angle and just broke it back basically. this happens randomly, sometimes after a rapid movement, sometimes after a weird angle, sometimes if i put my weight on it suddenly. im afraid of lifting weights like this because if it happens im gonna fucking cry

>Injury thread
I was born ;_;

It's a medico-legal thing too. This way he can't turn around afterwards and say "My arm wasn't that bad. They should have tried to save it."

I know perfectly how it feels. Snapped my ankle running after a buss and falling on a hole - I was high as fuck, so didn't feel it until 2 hours later. By then It was about the size of yours, even considering I have child's calves.

Are you stretching for recovery? After I rested for a month, my ankle was stiff AF, but stretching it progressively more each day has helped me a lot. I don't have issues when running or anything similar.

Scheduled to get my labrum repair after I had my MRI. postiointerior bankart right shoulder. I won't be 100% for probably a year. MI'm pretty excited about it I got to say. Haven't been able to bench comfortably in three years. And the arm just doesn't feel right. It doesn't bear a load correctly. The pain honestly is minimal. But the abnormal morphology is enough that I want to do it.

Wtf, is one of his legs 20cm larger than the other?

You should only punch someone in the guts, groin, or throat with a closed fist. Did you hit their head or elbow or something?

Broke my clavicle at around 4, 10 years later I started having sharp pains through the entire shoulder. AC joint injury is a bitch

Now I there's stuff I can't do anymore, dips notably
