>TAKING YOUR BENCH FROM 135 TO 225
if you are going to do 1x1 on your way you won't get bigger chest
if you keep your reps high on road to 225 you will gain size
*blocks your path*
>constantly benching without a truckload of rows and face pulls
enjoy hunchback
Lmfao t. Newbie
I've been eating garlic and drinking 3 tablespoon of honey for the past few days, Veeky Forums. Eric is the true Messiah of Veeky Forumsizens everywhere.
Eric's style of training seems conducive to an unbalanced physique and overuse injuries.
Post your body
Stop shouting it's making me anxious
funny thing is ilya is fucking huge when compared to normies
>tfw even klokov looks dyel at some angles
high bodyfat, muscle-wise only his legs
he doesn't look dyel here, but ilya does. Only like 10 kg difference between these two, but klokov is pure muscle while ilya is high bf%. Ilya's stronger though
Fuck off retard, his upper body looks dyel in god-awful lighting at a shitty angle, and he competes in a strength sport that mainly revolves around strong legs.
He's actually pretty fucking jacked.
i don't know. he looks pretty decent in youtube.com
but you can't really compare him to klokov or chinese who actually do BB
funny that you mention legs. in pic related, tian is also around 10 kg heavier than lu but looks smaller. until you see his legs which are like twice the size of lus and lu has big legs compared to other lifters
not really, maybe for dyel /owg/ standards but I see bigger upper bodies in the gym on a regular basis. And given his strength, he's pretty fucking small, even after a few additional roidbulks to -105.
>god-awful lighting at a shitty angle
Klokov looks good in that picture
yeah he looks decent, but if you saw him at a gym you wouldn't think he's the strongest man alive in his weight class
There's a lot more to being a championship weightlifter than size and strength.
Fucking dumbshits.
the claim of the thread is that strength=size in any case
That's true, but neither of those are as important factors in weightlifting as technique and power.
Yet his legs, which is where the 1-rep max strength principles are mainly applied, he's huge.
If you'd apply the same principles to upper body training, it would yield similar results, which is what the big olympic lifters do, upper body strength work, with some assistance stuff.
Klokov looks good because he's bigger, but mainly because he's more cut and the pic doesn't give either ones size justice at all.
You can't denounce an entire training methodology on the basis of one terrible picture.

Also he has bigger arms than 95% of gym goers.
>95% of gym goers
