The guy failed the squat, his spotters did a good job, what's there to criticise?

whoever is in charge and gave this guy such weak ass spotters.

lmao at the nigger giving him a seizure

Anyone got the link of this event where like 30 other times the spotters fuck up?

This

Don't get what he was tryin to do

Imagine the pain

>powerlifting
what a meme

He did a pretty good job lad, he stopped him falling and fitting hard and then kept the weight from falling with those trash side spotters failing to keep the weight level.

That right spotter caused a lot of the problems

Why don't they use a safety bands or a power cage ?

>this is classified as a sport

who even knows
powerlifters aren't the smartest bunch

The retard on the right who tries to curl it

Him trying to drop it off his back you are supposed to stay with it

The people who let the guy on the far right spot anyone

The event for not having a monolith

...

>monolith
settle down tyson

lol the girl on the left

You can see him telling the guys on the other side to lift it more. Dude in your pic did his job

This.

he wasn't talking about the dude in the pic

Reviewbrah gives me peepee tingles

I meant monolift, why am I so retarded

The american people for being generally incompetent.

>power cage
Look how wide his grip is. Where exactly would you put safety bars that would not result in him smashing off a few fingers?

>safety bands
The best argument I've heard against the use is that the use of safety bands increases the risk of spotters getting a hand or arm between the weights and the bands, which could potentially happen in cases where the lifter drops the bar or fucks up. It doesn't seem likely to me though.

This. Wtf, at least if left was curling too but no, one tries to get the bar to his shoulder and the other barelly goes above his hips.

I misread, my bad

Spotters look like they're doing a pretty alright job, why the fuck did the lifter go into a seizure?

He probably pinched an artery like when kids mess around with fairy fainting

Here's his response: instagram.com/p/BHL6hXRj5oT/

>bla bla bla don't be too harsh on the spotters bla bla bla

Not a word of explanation as to why he started flopping like a fish.

If this was a pinched nerve or something, surely he would've mentioned it.

As it stands, I'm pretty convinced he was just putting on theatrics for show and attention.

>fairy fainting
what's that?
