Broscience related to strength training

Bro if you want to get big you should do a routine which consists of following a routine where you hit each bodypart at least twice a week and try to lift for strength on the main lifts but also do some volume work for hyperthrophy LOL

"Strength base"
Squats are enough for your core
Squats will give you bigger biceps through the magic of...squats

lol someone's plateaued

The idea that the difference between a beginner and an intermediate is the weight on the bar.
The idea that beginners should rush to progress purely in weight on the bar instead of increasing slower and using the time to develop conditioning and work capacity, otherwise you're just wasting the noob period when lighter weights still take effort.

>ohp to increase bench
>using belts is cheating

>getting memed on Veeky Forums of all fucking places

>3x5 for intermediates

>Greg Nuckols
>Johnnie Candito
>Mark Bell
>Jason Blaha
>Omar Isuf

What are some other broscience youtubers?

When you eat that pre-workout banana, don't forget to twist it in half so that potassium starts getting released even before its in your body, so that your sodium-potassium pump works more efficiently and you get bigger pump.

Squats force test into your other muscles

Not hard to plateau on squats when you ignore everything between you legs and your neck thinking that squats alone are enough. Everything from your feet up to your shoulders has to be strong, if anything in that whole chain fails then YOU fail.

You need to be eating 1g of protein for every pound of bodyweight

this one is true tho

how in the fuck did he get the right part of the barbell under the safeties?

Actually its more like 2g of protein per body weight

Lmfao

You some kinda scrub that can't do 500g of protein a day? LMAO

>wasting the noob period
This is broscience you fucking moron. Noob gains are quantified by muscle weight, not by time spent lifting. You could do 100 reps of 5lbs for a year, gain no muscle and your noob gains would still be there

good point

>High reps won't make you stronger
>I'm training for strength not size
>"But with this brosplit I hit the muscle harder all in one session, that means it's better"
>Acting like everyone is a novice forever and never learning anything about periodization
>Strength training makes you fat
>You need to be a powerlifter to lift to get strong

Is that a neck exercise? If I saw that in person I would legitimately think the guy is trying to commit suicide.

he tried to rack it but didn't have the strength left, and there's a gap between the safety and the vertical

>straps are cheating
>TnG deadlifts are pointless
>high reps don't build strength

Dropped the bar on his neck while benching

all of them. genuine and realistic advice doesnt sell

rygjgujd

nah m8 he's doing neck side curls

that's literally what he was saying you illiterate dipshit

Overtraining? What's that, some new revolutionary routine? Where can I download it?

You can only have 50g of protein per meal brah, otherwise the body can't digest it brah.

He's a comedian. When I see dislikes and buttblasted comment there are usually people who see his vids for the first time.

>based on study
>bro science
Enjoy your IF fatty.

>tfw can only afford 1g of protein for every kilo of lean bodyweight

>he doesn't know

there are also studies denying it as well, there is little correlation.

But yes, enjoy prepping your 6 meals a day oh wise one.

I bought a 50 pound bag of 32% whey used as animal feed or enriching bread for $10

mix 100g with my milk and chug

WHATEVER IT TAKES GOD DAMNIT CMON

Sauce on image?

>there's a gap between the safety and the vertical
no there's not, look closer

Watch the video. That's exactly what happened. Terrifying.

>he can't even do 2200g per day

but... this works

.
blood flow increases muscle growth
have long pauses between switching exercises in order to get maximum blood flow into one area.

i can just feel its correct, i havent seen any research to support it but i know its true.

Barbell rows are enough work for your biceps

3*5 bench once or twice & twice a week is enough volume for your chest

it's called a deadlift for a reason, it's supposed to start from a dead stop

high reps don't build strength, when it goes from an anaerobic to aerobic lift you're not building strength

you're a crossfitter

Dude don't do strength training you won't grow you won't get big bruh
>except your legs which will grow huge

What are some good chest accessories to do with 3*5 bench? I'm on gslp and getting memed with that low volume

>when you hit a plateau you need to confuse your muscles

(Incline) db press, dips.

lmao i thought that guy was taking a selfie

Bro you need meat and lots of dairy to big and stronk.

Meat? Yes.
The protein and fats help you build and maintain muscle.
Milk..no. Too much cow estrogen.

Means that you should do another workout that can help you get over that hump.
Like doing chinups along with curls to break out of a plateau when it comes to building for your arms.

Oh and this actually mostly works for teen boys who're flooded with natural test and still growing and gear heads.
Mostly gear heads.

>if you can TnG the weight, you can DL the weight
>constant tension throughout the whole set
>one of the greatest deadlifters of all time built his DL strength with sets of 15-30 and TnG
>you know more than he does

Seriously though, the rep meme is probably the worst of all. I've smashed plateaus doing 30 rep maxes.

Vertical press does translate to horizontal press. Ask Candito.

>30 rep maxes.
You are a crossfitter with no muscle. Just take up running if you want cardio
