How in the name of God can you actually eat 2000 calories per day? My lunch consisted of 500 and I'm stuff, another one at the evening and I have 1000, just the half. What a shit. There's no way I can eat twice as much.

Eat callorically dense foods you fucking idiot

gotta eat big to get big

olive oil shots x5 a day

as retarded as hearing people complain about having to cut down because then they will feel hungry

the stomach will adapt in a matter of a week or so you fucking weak cunt

This.

Protip: pasta, rice, et al are fucking meme foods for bulking. They're not dense at all; they double in weight when cooked (and maybe slightly more than that in size).

Peanut butter, plain nuts (almonds, peanuts, etc.), bacon, mackerel - these sorts of things are truly calorie dense.

150g of cooked pasta for around 250 kcal isn't dense.

2000? Fuark, I bulk at 3000 and can easily eat 4500-5000+ if i gave in
Slowly increase cals OP, keep adding a couple hundred each day
Drinking water first thing makes me starving by the time I get to work
You can sneak fats into foods easy, couple tablespoons of olive oil, stick of butter etc
Quinoa and lentils are better carb sources IMHO than pasta and rice

Stop being a vegan and stop eating foods which advertise themselves as "X gram protein/100 calories". You fucking FAGGOT DIE DIE

You didn't tell us WHAT you were eating, so I'm going to assume you are one of those fags who eats chicken and broccoli and then wonders why he can't gain weight. Eat fucking fatty beef and pork, milk and nuts. 2000 calories is the average male intake. This shouldn't be difficult.

Oats with milk and sugar or fruit for breakfast
150g of nuts throughout the day
200g of pasta/rice with veggies and/or chicken or fish
Skyr or Greek yogurt/cottage cheese (for the protons)
Tons of milk throughout the day, maybe some cream
Easy 3500 - 4000 calories a day, you won't even be full. Don't forget to also drink 2-4L of water a day desu.

Eat high calorie foods?
Why do people this retarded exist.

Eat fatty stuff

To skyrocket my body fat %?

no to get the calories in so you grow you dumb fuck.

Or don't, see if I give a shit.

High calories morning shake for the win
you could easily get 1/3 of your total calories

That's not how it works.
Your diet could be 100% fat but if you ate below your TDEE, you'd still lose weight.

Think of it this way, when you eat an animal's muscle, it doesn't immediately attach itself to your skeleton and give you bigger guns. Fat is the same, you won't eat the fat of an animal or plant and then immediately add it to your own deposits, you'll metabolize it and then your body will use it appropriately.

have more fatty stuff in the morning
and more carbs towards the evening , it won't skyrocket anything as long as you spend the energy by training,
if you gain extra bf you can always adjust

Can you give some more examples of cal dense food I can replace pasta and rice with?

you know there is a thing called 'google' right?

Pasta and rice are great user. The other anom is right in saying that they gain some volume when you cook them, but we're still talking over 600 calories for 200g of uncooked pasta and 700 calories for 200g of uncooked rice. Try grabbing a food scale and pay attention to how little that actually is; add some good veggies like raw broccoli and some chicken or fish if you'd like and it really goes down fast.

Other than that, fatty foods in general will be the most calorically dense. Nuts, avocados, fatty fish, that kind of thing.

Related to the OP. How the fuck can I get 170g of protein in a 1500kcal cut without eating something dumb like 15 cans of tuna a day?

Nigga really?

haha wew lad

nah shut up retard pasta oats rice is GOAT for bulking, just because its water it doesnt mater because the water goes out of ur stomach quickly anyway.

Why the fuck do you want 170g of protein on a 1500kcal cut? 0.8g per pound of lean body mass has been shown to be optimal.

Chicken, tuna and Greek yogurt/cottage cheese are your best options though.

I guarentee you don't need 170 grams of protein

whats with all this mixing of metric and imperial

>pasta isn't calorically dense
Nigga if the marinara is delicious enough I can down a packet in one sitting easily, what are you talking about
PEANUT BUTTER YOU RETARD

Not my fault Americans think that using metric for macros and micros makes sense when the rest of their measurements are arbitrary fucked up roller coasters.

I just put it in a way so that most people here will get it desu

ectofag problems

Fuck I wish I had them.

Thanks. 136g sounds a lot more reasonable to me. I'm a newbie and chubby for what it's worth. 77kg @ 175 cm something like 23% bodyfat I'd say.

Good luck user, we believe in you.

Drink your calories. Not saying GOMAD, but a hefty serving of full fat milk with two scoops cmon and some peanut butter goes a long way.

He's right though.

Pasta, oats and rice are fucking bad for people who can't stomach much food.

>how little that actually is

Thats the point; its not. Cook that 200g and it turns into 400g. Again, that's not dense. For comparison, 100g bacon has almost 550 kcal and 37g protein.

I was a bit too harsh before; I do eat pasta and rice, but I also eat denser foods with it.

If you're feeling full after 500 kcal, the solution is to eat foods that are denser and eschewing more spacious foods. I used to have 150g (dry) of pasta a day, along with 150g chicken and 100g spinach and 50g green pesto. The meal was physically HUGE.

Going for this then

Idk anons, I used to be 47kg (103lbs) at 181cm (5'11) and obviously used to eat like a fucking bird, pasta/rice dishes have been integral to me bulking up just because I like how they taste. Everyone is different, just try out different things until you find out what works. I just don't think you should be telling people NOT to try bulking on pasta and rice.

Macadamia nuts nigga. Two to three handfuls a day, look out for unsalted ones.

nice pasta

Pasta and rice is good but not the core of the bulk. The core of the bulk is what you then add to the pasta or rice.

All i'm saying is that they're not calorie dense and that they take up a lot of physical space compared to other foods which are much more dense.

To add to this, I'm bulking on 3500 - 4000 kcals a day right now, I'm the user who posted What works for some might not work for others. Before I had any real success bulking on real food, I tried retarded shit like drinking 18 tablespoons of olive oil a day as a skelly. Obviously shat it all out and barely metabolized any of the macros, but now I know that didn't work. Experimentation id part of the journey.

>just buy the worlds most expensive nuts bro

personally I would prefer more fat, for dat dere test gains

>I'd say

t. roughly 28-30%

I eat 1400 for breakfat lmao

...

>breakfat
Neat Freudian slip brah

>what is buying in bulk for relatively cheap in comparison because they literally last you months without even tasting a hint different let alone going bad

around here a 150g baggie is 4 bucks but a whole 1,5kg bag is like 22ish IF EVER. do the math.

47kg at 181 cm 0.0

>Norwaycuck
>Several parties want to make high-calorie foods more expensive to encourage healthy eating
>Student budget, so poorfag
>Meat already expensive

Politics will prevent me from making it.

I know user. I'm better now though!

This is what happens when you get universal healthcare.

>We pay for your healthcare so we decide what you can and can't do

Have you tried being a man? I'm lean bulking on 3500+ calories and could easily eat more than that.

Seriously. 2000 calories is nothing. That's three meals small-normal sized meals. Add some snacks and you are already at 2500-3000.

Rice is literally a cutting food since you feel full after eating it, for not much calories

500ml + 2 scoops of ground up oats + one scoop of whey

>Eating food with lots of calories is unhealthy
Wut

They unironically believe this
Also
>If we illegalize discounting meat that's about to expire, it will be good for the environment!

>>Student budget, so poorfag
>>Meat already expensive
LENTILS YOU SNOWNIGGER

Scandinavian logic mate.
We do the same shit here in Denmark, so the only nuts that I can economically justify buying for my bulk are salted peanuts since they're the cheapest. I just want my cashews, man.

>rinse thoroughly
>blend with sunflower oil until thick and gooey
>spread on toast, mix into shakes, or spoon raw
voilá, le ghetto butter du peanut

Kek, thanks user, that unironically sounds pretty tasty. I don't have a problem shoveling down hundreds of calories worth of peanuts though, I just really miss the taste of unsalted cashews.

You don't even have a single fat person, that the fuck

Oh, well thats unfortunate. Cant you hop over to Germany to buy some in bulk? I would recommend Sweden too but what I heard theyre even worse nut cucks

I eat 1700

>want to make high-calorie foods more expensive
As in what, sugary shit? You shouldn't be eating too much of that anyway.

To add, it applies to fucking AVOCADOS too. AVOCADOS! Same shit as with the nuts, they're high in fat and calories so let's tax it lmao.

Even if the Nordic model isn't full blown socialism, socialism is still cancer tbqh.

If I lived near the border I could, but I live in the capital which is on Zealand, far away from the German border. Fortunately we have a right-wing coalition in power right now, and there is some talk about revoking the nut tax. We're all gonna make it.

Fuck. Nice area to live at least though, been there twice for family reasons.

>right wing to the power so I can bulk in peace
*laughs in /pol/ and Veeky Forums*

hahahahahahahaha these fucking bait threads are giving me CANCER just STOP

You're reasoning is bullshit.

.t fatty or ex fatty

I thought this was going to be another Asuka thread with the final word in the OP being baka.
I guess that guy is gone.

Shakes are elder god tier.

mmm, Asuka...

Kek try 4k+

This is what happens if you actually are working out hard, and you're not a bodybuilder prepping for a show or a fattie cutting: as long as you get enou g protien, you can eat near anything. For me that's 4000-6000 kcal/day @ 205lbs and ~ 12% bf

Breakfast: huge bowl of oatmeal, 4 strips of bacon, 2-4 eggs, half pot of black coffee

Snacks: there's a econ size tub of nuts at my desk at work, and i have a gallon steel bottle for water. The water will be gone by the time i head home

Lunch: footlong sub with double meat on whole or multigrain bread plus enough veggies that half of them are a side. Half a big bag of chips. 20oz soda

Dinner: chicken and veggie wrap x 3, w/ cheese, a sauce, and maybe some rice or beans tossed in. Slice up a veggie or two and snack on that raw while the chicken cooks

Possible after dinner snack: depends, though half a pint of ice cream is nice

>205 @ 12%

Fuaaark literally my ideal

>tfw 205 at 25%

are you natty and 7’2, or pinning? genuine question, mirin either way

6'1", natty, and I'll pile on why I've used Veeky Forums for humor on occasion. I'm 42.

When I was 21, I was about 150 and skinnyfat. Over the years I tried the usual fitness things but never changed much. I though I'd be stuck in the same mode as my father for life; never gaining much weight but never getting muscular. I viewed.my high endurance as the silver lining.

About 5 years back I started lifting seriously. First year I packed on about 30lbs, and each succeeding year a few more.

I'm already looking at trt, but more for the aspect of work. I'm very active and while my last bloodwork doesn't show a dropoff of T yet, it'll happen eventually. Old Man/Lady Death comes for all, but you don't have to pave the road for it

I started eating more and more progressively. Now I can eat 500kcal of chicken and 1000kcal of rice for lunch.

>mfw this was quite unexpected but speaks to me on a deeper level than I first thought because I am in my mid 30s and worry about similar shit already
dude
