How do you treat acne? I've had this since tenth grade and it won't go away

accutane for 5 months or anti biotics. Cystic acne is a disease and needs to be treated with pharmaceuticals

You realize that you're still 19 or 20 and that getting acne is an unfortunate reality of being a young adult.

See a dermatologist, ~6 months of accutane or a variant of it will immensely improve your skin

Go to a doctor, don't waste your time on the stuff you can buy in a store or online. The stuff you'll get prescribed will work 100 times better than that stuff

Guile?

what if you're not that rich to buy what a doctor prescribes?

Don't eat dairy for couple of weeks and See what Happens

For something that small just clean your face daily, refrain from touching it.

I've been using Neutrogena, is it shit?

If a professional recommended it to you great, use it
Follow whatever your dermatologist prescribes, they know skincare, you do not

When I think about (if you're OP) you might be able to get some generic acne cream to deal with your scenario; but if you want guaranteed results see a professional. Accutane has lasting effects even when you stop taking it

this shit is my holy grail

most i got was a pimple here and there until i was 21. then it blased my forehead. years later it's minimal.
adolescence is a key time for acne. however people can have acne at any age. i've seen plenty of middle aged people with acne in my city.

Just look at the skincare thread on Veeky Forums

Clearasil just regular clearsil scrub was my highschool gangs approved acne wash n that shit worked good

It's pricy to see a doc, what's the best thing I can get without a prescription?

generic accutane

what's your routine incorporating it?

>He calls that acne

Just wash your fucking face routinely and you'll be fine. Also cut back on dairy and chocolate.

> wash face
> (optional) use a cleanser
> pat face dry
> wipe face with stridex pad
> apply moisturizer if face feels dred out

not falling for the cowtit poison meme

>wash face
> (optional) use a cleanser
Sweetie, washing your face is synonymous with using a facial cleanser.

What said.
My visits were $70 once a month and the drug copay for me was $15.
Obviously the doctor is going to want to put you on an oral antibiotic first before jumping straight to isotretinoin, but if your acne comes back after the amount of time they have you on it, then you get the be-all-end-all of acne drugs.
The only caveat of opting for the cheaper generic brand of isotretinoin is having to take the pill with a really fatty meal. Absorica (the name-brand you get if you have good insurance/money) doesn't need to be taken with a fatty meal to be absorbed.

most people just splash their face with water, and don't use specific products

morning and night i wash with cetaphil(normal to oily) and then this, and my acne has gotten much better.

the r/ecommended routine?

look up that youtube channel with that asian milf dermatologist who just pops pimples

Cleaning up my diet helped mine.

Its worth trying. Cut out anything that makes you tired or phlemy after eating.

I searched for "asian milf dermatologist" on google but only got pornhub results

You're success will largely be based on your ability to not touch/squeeze/pop your blemishes, user.

No dairy no gluten no junk food whatsoever, 4 bottles of water a day and dont touch your face to stop the acne you already have from spreading, NEVER pop pimples, they go away quickly if you dont touch them, put a bandaid on your face if you dont have the self will to not touch it

Also no chocolate

What foods made you tired and phlemy? I always feel tired and get lots of mucus in my throat. Not sure what causes it though.
