More effort = more reward, get a club or ymca membership. Follow a real routine. Lifting has 3 parts that are equally important and gains cannot be made without all 3. Eating, sleeping, lifting. Do these 3 on a real strength progression routine for the first year, then either start on a bodybuilding/aesthetics routine or stay on strength progression.

If you want good cardiovascular fitness, then run on top of this, but make sure you're still taking in a sufficient caloric surplus every day. 1-2 mile runs = half a meal tops, and are beneficial long term.
