Someone ran SS instead of a real program with arms. If you're not doing triceps isolations, your arms will be the limiting factor in your bench.
Everyone who benches should be doing snatch push press for shoulders, triceps, and overhead mobility. Best way to go heavy and hit muscles that are neglected by flat bench.
