If I were to eat pizza, hamburgers, and other foods that were crazy insane amounts of calories, and THEN went insane in the gym, would I see more muscle gains?

I'm looking at it like this. Say you eat a whole pie of pizza. Go to the gym for a while, make them gains, but also put on some fat. Wouldn't it be worth it for them gains? And you can just easily burn that fat off later to reveal them gains? I'm being serious here

This is the definition of a bulk. Doesn't really matter when you eat the calories. Don't do it if you are already fat. Eating junk food all the time is not really good for your heart and vessels in the long term, though. You can do just the same by eating lean food. If you have trouble eating enough, GOMAD. If you are 20-24% body fat, you'll make the same gains whether you bulk or not. People who are low bf will make better gains if they eat a lot, because it is necessary in order to spare muscle tissue. Being fat has the same effect, so fat people don't need to bulk.

You can bulk dirty, but make sure you also have enough protein. The other thing that you forget is while cutting, you'll lose not only fat but muscle as well. The longer the cut, the more muscle is gone too. Especially if your diet is not optimal macro wise. So you don't want to get too fat. Eating waaay above the required amount will not help you gain more muscle, just more fat.
Tldr: don't be impatient, try to eat a lot but as clean as possible

This is known as a "dirty bulk". It's, well, "funner", I guess. But you will gain a lot of extra fat as well which means you'll have that much more work to do when it's time to cut. The general consensus is that smaller caloric surpluses/deficits are more efficient in the long run.
