sorry, user. check your BMI to know for sure. plus, ratios like height to weight don't really matter too much. it's more about how you think you look in the mirror. you might have to lose until you go below the normal weight for a person your height before all the problem fat on your body goes away.

Thank you /fat/, I've lost 13 pounds in 5 weeks just by watching my calories and fasting. This week I've started jogging so I expect to see the weight loss pick up the pace. I was 236 on August 14, as of right now stepping out of the shower I'm 223. My goal was 200 by Christmas, and I'm really thinking I can exceed that now.

When I lived with my parents I was too shy to ask for snacks, and they didn't buy anything I really wanted otherwise. If we ever got anything, I didn't want to waste it either, so I'd only have a small bowl each day. As such, I resorted to eating a lot of dry cat food. I'd fill up my shirt like a little pouch and carry a few handfuls up to my room and then munch on that for meals. It kind of tasted like the aftertaste of red wine, but the worst part is that since it amused me so much to be eating, and I was so "hungry," I would chew up the cat-food until it was soggy and pliable, and then spit it out into my hands and mould it into a ball, and take bites out of that.

i tried to quit weed, do no porn, and diet all at the same time. couldn't keep myself from jerking it on the reg. you gotta have at least some fun in life, right?

Currently 6'6" 345lbs. Lost 6 lbs since Monday doing intermittent fasting.

I've tried to lose weight for the better part of 5 years now and I've only exploded into a lard ass. The main block for me is discipline/mental. For whatever reason I hit an invisible wall 3 weeks in and slip up, which turns into quitting, binging, then shame, rinse and repeat.

So my doc prescribed trokendi and phentermine for a 4 month course to help keep the cravings in check, boost metabolism, and break through that progress wall. There are a lot of side effects, but honestly the progress is good and it's helped pull my attention away from food so I don't mind.

I lost 11lb in 9 days on keto and fasting lol and that was after I've been on it for a month so it's not water weight.

Thanks, dude. It's been 15 months of active weight loss. For me, time seemed to fly by while I've been losing weight. It could go faster for you to get where I am since I imagine you're probably taller than I am.

I don't think it's hard to understand. Fat people are shunned and hated often not getting to experience a lot of things in their adolescence. Anime is an escapism and they latch onto what they grow up with and know.

Also, I think their waifu was from Idolm@aster and it's intended for lonely adults with no gf.

this. I consider cardio as leg day, so I'll do the regulars, then next day I do leg day like squats and calf raises, then the next day i do regulars again (by that i mean arms, chest, etc) and the day after, i do cardio.
Probably a shit system that you shouldn't follow to a T, but alternating will be helpful for you

I go 7 days a week, 9 times a week, with a total of ~3 hours of cardio a week, mostly medium intensity (4mph full incline walk and stairclimbers at 3-4 flights/minute)
I like swimming because it's low impact and relaxing but if you're feeling tired and exhausted give yourself some rest. You won't do yourself a favor by burning out.

It's literally my second day dieting and my fatfuck of a mom bought a fucking pizza. I complained about it to my brother and he just told to stop being so negative. Holy fuck lads, how I am suposed to diet living with people like this? How do you anons do it? Calm down- it's a pizza. You're going to be making changes to your diet over the next few months that you want to keep up for the rest of your life. There is NO reason if you enjoy eating pizza that you have to cut it out entirely- portion control is something you need to learn.

You have one of a number of options:
1. Eat one/two slice/s of the pizza and fit it into your calorie goals for the day.
2. Avoid the pizza this time and eat something different.
3. Move out where you can control absolutely everything that comes into your house.

I live at home myself and you just have to accept that other people around you aren't dieting. Take control of yourself - what you shove in your mouth is YOUR choices, not theirs. Just because they decide to get an entire cake in doesn't mean you need to eat the entire lot.

Why don't you offer to help with shopping and get what YOU want in? Have you tried meal prepping and having pre-portioned breakfast/lunch/dinner in the fridge at all times so you don't have to worry about these things?

You need to start creating habits that will last you for a lifetime, and throwing your toys out of the pram because other people are eating high calorie food that you haven't been able to fit into your day is not a good start. Either make room, eat a sensible portion or skip it.

you are going to need a lot of willpower for the first month till they learn that bad food is wasted on you. don't eat it let it rot tell them that you don't want it. physical separation, if they make some bait food, go away drink a glass of water eat skim yogurt to satisfy your real hunger. brute force the calories. first you burn them then you can eat them.

Hopefully when I weigh myself this Saturday I'll at be 320lbs, which puts me at the 40 pounds lost milestone.

Thingken the same thing my mane. It's a ways off for me but I started at 220 now I'm 198 after almost 3 months. It's not ROCKET FAST progress but it felt like it went by really quick.

my advice? Avoid the pizza. Don't sit down at a table that has an entire pizza. If someone hands you one slice, and their dont appear to be any other slices around, go for it and have your well portioned meal. I know myself enough to know that if I am in the vicinity of ready to eat food, I will eat it, I WILL EAT IT. I WILL EAT ALL OF IT (actually I've gotten better at throwing away truly gigantic meals instead of saving them for later, if you are mid way through a binge, ask yourself if you're still hungry and whether eating the food is enjoyable still, helps loads in turning a shit day to a crap day).

Willpower is a joke though. You need a way to minimize food from your life, somehow, you need to come up with a strategy. Your mom will keep bringing home pizzas, family members will keep having birthdays, long weekends, Fridays, thanksgiving, it never ends. It's been a long time since I've lived at home but my advice would be to make sure food isnt 'yours.' Tell yourself it's your moms pizza, or pretend she only lets you eat one slice, even if she says otherwise. If she offers you some, say you will just have one slice to her and form a contract with her, when she shovels another one onto your plate, say that you only wanted one slice etc. Say thank you for the single slice, be polite about losing weight, dont complain.
