I go for silent walks. if i think all my problems out during the day i'm sometimes fine for the night.

Why does my weight only go down on keto now? I've lost over 100 pounds but I've been plateaud for a while now and only keto seems to move the scale.

Am I just calculating calories wrong? Ideas thinking of just doing a hardcore IF like 20/4 to restrict more because I hate keto. Any tips?

Your body is 80% water, idiot. Losing water weight IS losing weight.

Clothes can add 1 or 2 kg to your weight, but it was probably just water weight.
Anyway, always go in the balance naked or at least weight your clothes after if you don't have a balance at home so you can be as precise as possible.

naah brah, your body just gets used to certain foods. Shoveling garbage in your pie hole with a frightening speed was what you were used to. Eating healthy is what your getting used to. eventually many items of junk food will lose a lot of their appeal.

I can't figure out how so many people who lose 200 lbs feel happy after weight loss with all the loose skin. 45k is way too much money to get surgery.

We simply have less shame and more fortified digestive systems, not on purpose or by choice but as a consequence of our genetics and/or experiences. In fact it is so very not by choice that we desperately crave the very shame and digestive weakness you lament having--the shame in the sense that we glorify it and pretend we hate ourselves more than we really do because we think it will make us live like you when really it doesn't because we just don't actually have it, and the digestive weakness because if I couldn't eat without puking then I wouldn't have to put so much energy into trying not to eat.

If it's shame, and you're doing this on purpose and asking how we got over the emotional desire to, you should see a bulimia specialist. If it's just digestive weakness, you should see a doctor. You should probably see a doctor either way.

Best of luck with recovery from whatever is going on with you, because throwing up after eating any substantial amount is definitely not normal, healthy, or anything most people ever have to struggle with.

I was naked in the morning when I weighed myself and naked after I went on a walk and weighed myself. And you're right, it is almost entirely just water from the sweat.

But since I burned about 700 calories (I was power walking and carrying a heavy backpack in the hot sun), that would mean I burned 700/3500=1/5 of a pound (considering I went walking without eating breakfast or drinking anything).

I used to go to drugstores the day after Halloween to buy those giant bags of candy and fill my entire drawer with it. Just thinking about it disgusts me. I've noticed the older I got, the less I enjoy candy. I remember as a kid offering my dad some candy and he said that didn't enjoy candy much anymore. I thought he was just being a boring adult. Let's get this straight. When you lose weight in the form of fat, you are technically losing the weight in water, because your fat cells are deflating and you are the losing that water when you pee. However, when you eat greasy and salty foods you tend to retain a lot of that water throughout your digestive track and in other organs in your body through a process called osmosis.

So you did not lose that much weight from deflating your fat cells, you lost it from water retention. How can I be sure of this? There are 3500 calories in a pound, and depending on how much you weigh, you require a certain amount of calories per day (usually less than 3500 unless you are super obese). So to lose a pound of fat in a day, you have to eat almost nothing and exercise like all hell.

It's normal. After I lost 60 pounds I couldn't go back to eating the way I used to and if I ate too much sugar, I'd suffer the next day with a terrible headache. On the bright side, eventually you lose your craving for sodas and other sweet treats that you used to eat.

keto has the effect of reduced hunger to some, making particular good if you want to eat less, and don't track you food too closely

I've come on here a few times complaining about being hungry constantly and eating all day despite not wanting to. Some people suggested I go to the doctor because it's possibly diabetes, others suggested that it was just my anxiety.

Read the first post and sticky. Find your TDEE abd easy 500 calories under it. Stop eating crap and start eating healthier stuff. Start walking 10k steps a day (about 5 miles /7km) and build on that.

But don't be afraid of the gym, it's completely harmless.

Type 2? Even if your blood sugar appears to be constantly stabilized throughout the day for a few days in a row, you still don't want to check every now and then. Even with a better diet and exercise, you may get a bump here and there.

Today’s a rest day I just ate:

500 is considered the a good start. If your TDEE is really high and cutting by 1000 would still have you eating 1200+ cals a day, you can do that. Try either one, and adjust to something that works for you. Obviously you'll lose more quickly if you go lower.

No, if you are big enough to get loose skin that's going to happen regardless. There's a thought that it might be slightly less bad if you lose weight slowly and build muscle to replace the fat, but that won't prevent it completely.

It is better to lose weight slowly because that's more sustainable. Losing weight and keeping it off is a long term commitment, trying to lose a ton of weight very quickly just means you are likely to put it back on because you haven't actually made concrete changes to help you long term.

So let's say I go down to my ideal weight and only eat out once a week. Will gorging myself with half a pizza bring me back up?

1500. But I threw all the junk I had out of my apartment and just won't buy more, so I don't actually eat all that much in a given day. And on top of that, my main cardio is playing DDR on my old ps2, and man, sometimes I just get in a groove (no pun intended) and end up playing for a few hours.

Put lots of vegetables on the sandwhich (along with a good chunk of meat) and preferrably use whole wheat bread (more fiber) and the sandwhich will be filling as all fuck. Don't go crazy on the sauce or cheese (not saying none, just be sane) and the calories should be fine.
