Jews were involved in that the USSR had a large Jewish population and some has risen through the ranks. It was by no means a Jewish undertaking in any sense.
A common /pol/ tactic is to post a catalog of self selected Soviet officials and show they were Jews. Thus the USSR was a Jewish evil? No. It's cherry picking, Stalin and a majority of the people responsible weren't Jewish.
Were Jews overrepresented in the early USSR leadership? Yes. They're also overrepresented in the Tsarist camp. Jews had no unified agenda. Claiming otherwise is like NSA hacking was an Asian plot because they are overrepresented in the NSA and tech field. It's backwards logic.

Its was a famine created by collectivism. Kulaks were hoarding grain and the Soviets forcefully seized their farm and created unreachable quotas the proceeded to punish them for no reaching said quotas.

The thing with Jews is that not only do they rise through the ranks, they are vastly overrepresented as the highest achieving people in a given field or industry. It's individual people doing everything they can to get ahead just like everyone else and some Jews happen to be the very best which comes with exposure and influence. It's a problem for a host people when Jews do this because the individually powerful Jewish people successful in promoting their ideas by working with other people promoting
Since Jews have their own home land they can return to if things don't work out well in the host nation their interests/values don't necessarily align with those of the host.

Yes there were some jewish bolsheviks, but that's because communism was a political ideology where everyone was equal no matter what, and religion didn't matter at all. my grandfather and his family lived through the holodomor in the south west of the soviet union. why would he make up stories about starving? he said soviet soldiers came to every house and confiscated every bit of food they could find as well as all crops from farms. there was a famine and the soviet jews saw it as an opportunity to get rid of people they didnt like.
