Hey guys, here's my AMRAP set of bench yesterday after three triples yesterday. My question is, where is my sticking point, and what exercise should I do to target it? My programme has assistance T2s and I don't know which to use for bench to target it.

Also, any form tips are of course appreciated, bench has always been my worst lift.

leg drive doesn't mean bounce off the chest. Just do bis and tris 3 times a week and add some chest exercises if you can't progress. Should solve everything.

Mike does program accessory work focussing on muscles. It's just normally barbell based due to equipment issues and specificity to joint angles used while powerlifting.

It's the lowest priority work, behind competition variants and then assistance work like pause/tempo/pin work.

Deload a touch. What's wrong with your technique? I've found a lot of issues are from incorrect setup/cuing and can be sorted relatively quickly with intervention there.

It can, but how its implemented and how well it'll work is largely a function of exactly why your technique sucks.

Mike T himself has said the RTS manual is pretty out of date. For example he does not use fatigue percents at all anymore.He's hinted at releasing an updated version that is less influenced/focused on single ply equipped but i have no idea when it is coming out.
