I tried a plants only diet for 6 months too, and desu my body composition improved on the first few months probably because I was forced to eat lots of fiber and little fat while focusing really hard on getting enough protein.
After the first 2 months I got abs for the first time in my life, but started to feel weaker every passing month even after adding in more calories.
That's why I quit.
I never got any bitch tits, in fact I think lost some of my puberty gyno that I had all the way up to my mid 20's. I heard that there was questionable effects of isoflavones on men's hormones so I made sure to not eat any high phytoestrogen foods like flax or soy or hops.
Is it a meme diet? Probably, but so is 80% protein diets, you're not doing yourself a favor by eating mostly just protein, your hormones literally suffer for it.
