This reminds me of the story of the guy who inherited a bunch of money and lived a mediocre life. Average car, average house, and never went to work. Long story short he had a girlfriend and she complained he had no ambition and she didn't like that he didn't work and broke up with him. Then she found out he had millions and immediately tried getting back wit him.

If not, then I actually kind of sympathize with her, there's nothing wrong with a woman looking for a man who's serious about work if she wants a family or whatever, but she doesn't deserve to act outraged after she chose to dump him.

If marriages came with pre-nups automatically attached and they COULD NOT be thrown out by some cunt of a judge and there were sever penalties for a partner who is proven to have been cheating, my opinion on marriage would take a complete 360. As it stands in my country, even if you chose to live with a woman (doesn't matter if you are actually dating or not) for 3 years she is legally entitled to half of your shit and the state considers you married. That's a whole load of bullshit if you ask me.

Is there really any arguing anymore that this was not all engineered? That the law and pop-culture has been steered into a direction that purposefully drives a wedge between men and women?

What possible rational reason could there be for having these common law marriages? The only reason people stopped getting married in the first place was because they decided that there was going to be court mandated family destroyers. What else could be the endgame?
