The US goes to war with China, and despite a Pyrrhic victory, the country goes bankrupt due to political gridlock and the Union collapses. The Ku Klux Klan, having reformed itself as an anti-war party Mosley style, quickly takes control over the Deep South, eventually unifying the Greater Dixie area by promises of unity, brotherhood, and plenty of Caribbean land, available to all races to sweeten the deal. However, this plan quickly goes south, and millions of blacks and Chicanos run north to the Northeast, providing a rich source of labour and soldiers for the new Democratic Socialist party, which quickly founds a new Republic in Philadelphia to rival Dixie. In California, the anarchy creates a new wave of national consciousness, and in Eureka a Cascadian republic is proclaimed, which immediately allies itself with Dixie, now expanding towards the Pacific. The Mormons decide to declare independence and form a kooky republic. Seeing themselves boxed in on all sides, the Midwest united into the new Union of American States, which begins pursuing an alliance with Canada. In the Great Lakes region, the power vacuum has been mostly filled with local warlords, and authorities in Richmond, Philadelphia and Des Moines all compete to influence the most factions to their side.

Germany won the war without invading belgium, in fact france invaded belgium as a counterattack into germany, brittain remained neutral, belgium allied with germany. So, with just being france,russia,serbia, and romania versus germany,austria-hungary, the ottomans, belgium, and bulgaria. The central powers won easily, signed a decivise armistice with both france, and russia. Somehow the tsar's government remained in power.

The only things I can't explain are why germany didn't create more puppet governments in ukraine and white russia, and how italy gained montengro, albania, and morea.

That's a shitty map. Germany gained too much in Africa for no reason. Why would you keep serbia alive but give portugal to italy? Why does germany have any land in central america? Why would brittain even want normandy? It's too hard for them to defend. Why did america randomly split up and lose new england to brittain? Why did germany betray sweden, but leave slovakia alive? Why not just give slovakia to hungary? Brittain gained southern argentina for what reason? Why did itally get guinea-bissau for no reason?
