I brush once a day and floss every two days

Not sure how to start since i'm over 30 and just don't brush my teeth often, My sense of smell is also horrible so I'm aware when I talk to other people how uncomfortable they get......

How do I do this everyday? I never brush my teeth every single day and if I brush more than twice a day that happens maybe 10 times a year or so....

Just brush once when you wake up and once before bed. Force yourself to do it (set an alarm on your phone so you dont forget) and it will very quickly become a habit. It feels good and it's healthy and quick, there's literally no reason not to do it

btw, there is no conclusive scientific evidence that shows for certain that flossing gives added health benefits to someone who already brushes twice a day.

Another issue is I've been using gym and mints most of my life ever since we moved to the Americas, I guess gym and mints dont really help....
