Confess

is there a non fat version of this?

>The reaction by every woman that has shown interest in me ever

>in college
>on diet due to overweight+poor because college
>moms on vacation for the weekend
>pays me to go to her house twice a day to feed dog
>also says i can eat anything i want while im there
>time to cheat
>dont eat anything on friday
>arrive friday night
>i dont own a scale so i figured id weigh myself just to see if i lost weight
>i did, dont feel too guilty about cheating
>tonight
>have to take a shit
>figure ill weigh myself
>i gained 7 pounds since arriving at my moms house
>pee and poop
>lost 4 of the 7 pounds

im not sure if i should be impressed, disgusted, or have no opinion at all. ive never weighed myself before and after taking a shit so i dont even know if this counts as a huge dump or not

I ate 2,7000 calories today because it's my birthday. I know that's no excuse and I feel fucking bad. Set me straight please /fat/

had two really shitty cheat days, is it safe to fast for a day or so to catch up to where I was? Should I take vitamins or does it not really matter for such a short period?

>tfw didn't feel sub-human when looking at myself naked today
a-am I g-gonna make it?

just eat less than usual for the next couple days

You're only one year older but 10 years closer to death if you don't get your shit together you fuckin lard bucket. When you're in that hospital bed, unable to move and hooked up to those machines do you think maybe you'll think back and regret that "birthday cheat day cake"? Most likely

Nothing to confess Father, except maybe the degenerate porn I masturbated to this morning.

It's my birthday on the 22nd (so technically today because it's 3am but I can't sleep) but I've been eating like shit Friday, Saturday, and probably will eat like tomorrow too.

Not him but fucking hell man. He only ate 2,700 calories. Not fucking 5,000. Take it easy

I understand. But just know that you will regret it soon... if not already. Happy bday all the same though. Here's hoping that we're both in shape by the time our next birthday's roll around.

Well I've been eating like shit but it's been controlled and under 2400 calories, so I'm not too worried. The diet will resume Monday.

Remember to /fast/ for maximum metabolic, health, and lack of loose saggy skin gainz /fat/ !

Fuck off /fast/ back to your own shit general

If it's war you want...

Pee constitutes a large portion of the weight depending on how long it is. A poop is considered impressively large once it passes the 2-lb mark, otherwise it's just large and unimpressive for poops over one pounds.

250ml of wine before sleeping and a ice cream cup
Trying real hard to avoid ice cream, its just frozen vegetable oil in a shitty plastic cup
Maybe i will settle down to never eating it for a year

Saggy skin happens from losing too much weight too fast, how the fuck would fasting prevent that from happening?

It doesn't, /fast/ing is the biggest and worst meme-diet that keeps getting spread around Veeky Forums. Any time you mention that there's no evidence to support their claims they get even angrier and tell you to "check the reddit everything is there" but there's nothing there or anywhere to support the claim that long-term fasting is a reliable way to lose weight and keep it off.

>fast to lose initial weight
>transition to low kcal diet

weight stays off, so hard.

You assume a lot of things like saying the body gets hungrier and hungrier on a fast but you have nothing to back it up; your claims are baseless just like fasters.

Hell this study ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3780395/ sorta has a basis, it concludes that losing weight at a fast initial rate leads to greater short-term weight reductions, does not result in increased susceptibility to weight regain, and is associated with larger weight losses and overall long-term success in weight management. It is therefore suggested that, within lifestyle weight control programs, substantial efforts be focused on promoting large rather than small behavioral changes during the initial weeks of treatment.

Don't act like your viewpoint is correct when you have nothing to back it up.

Autophagy apparently, dr fungs clinics have reported (no evidence though) that none of their patients have had to have skin surgery after losing significant amounts of weight.

/r/fasting also has a bunch of cases of people losing large amounts of weight or trying out fasting after a pregnancy and having a reduction in stretch marks and loose skin.

There is no peer reviewed evidence though.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3946160/

Meta analysis of 112 studies into the effects of fasting.

Just like any diet/weight loss strategy, it requires a element of willpower; NOBODY is saying fasting is the best way to lose weight (it is the fastest), it may work for some people (e.g. helping to adjust to a different lifestyle) and it might not for some others; the same can be said for most diets, little long term evidence exists for the success rate of diets.

You don't get to write it off as a meme-diet just because no evidence exists you moron.

27000 kcal a day? Teach me, oh God of Bulks.

That has absolutely nothing to do with fasting and then magically switching over to low-cal diet. The major difference being that they weren't fasting the first month, they were eating at a larger calorie deficit, which is significant because the only thing that changes is a slightly larger portion size for the next couple months. How do you not understand the significance of forming healthy eating habits? Yes, if you have infinite willpower then you should be able to switch over just fine, but that never ends up happening in the real world.

I've already been through that and that study ONLY APPLIES TO INTERMITTENT FASTING, with fast windows NO LONGER THAN ONE WEEK which is way less than what you retards have been attempting.

>implying you cant form healthy eating habits after breaking a fast.

levels of autophagy stay pretty consistent up to 21-28 days of fasting bro which are responsible for most of the effects of fasting.

It's not the only study that exists lol; it must be hard being proven wrong all the time.

When your brain is on overdrive to eat everything in site? Yeah sure, go ahead and attempt breaking a fast and let me know how well you can manage to resist overeating.

Anyone have any good /fat/ to Veeky Forums pics of guys losing weight? I need some inspiration.

I have seen a bunch and if anything its mostly depressing. Fat to fit guys have a massive amount of loose skins on belly and nips are misplaced. Unless you get surgery.

Anyone had an alternative or guide to work myself up to pull-ups?

That's only if you lost more than 50 pounds and lost it relatively fast. But for the most part that's mostly what we have to offer for this general as far as success stories go.

I ate 1200cals of subway yesterday going 600cals over but I weighed less today even without taking a shit. No bloat or anything.

Thank you papa nurgle and thank you heavy rack pulls

I've lost 55 pounds in 6 month so far and have another 55 to lose. I guess I will have it for sure. I just hope my gainz can negate some of that but still so depressing to think I'll be ugly even after all of this

Some loose skin behavior is based on genetics (some skin will retract faster than others). All skin will retract in time though. Surgery will expedite this process, and bulking is also a good option (to be fair, bulking is only going to do so much).

But yeah, bulking helps, but it's really a matter of time or surgery.

I wonder what would happen if one were to actually consume that much with the least amount of food possible.

Four slices of pizza.

Kill me.

>I ate 1200cals of subway yesterday going 600cals over

Over what? Don't tell me your limit is 600cals a day. But either way, if you only ate 1200cals then it's no surprise you still dropped weight, that's a solid deficit by almost anyone's standards.

That's like, 3 jars of peanut butter.

I mean 10 jars. 10 jars of fucking peanut butter.

If you want to go as calorically dense as possible, it's just 3 kg olive oil (about 3.5 L)

So I'll just mix a bucket of olive oil and peanut butter, blend it with a bit of water and chug that fucker. Ultimate bulking shake.

Blend it with whole milk and protein powder and you might be onto something.

There are people in /plg/ who unironically bulk with milk/whey/protein/oil shakes. Just fyi.

if it wasn't big enough that you wanted to take a picture then it isn't huge

People are noticing the loss, still can't take a compliment though.

3 weeks in now lads and I haven't fallen off the wagon even once, consistently eaten under 1600 kcal a day, usually under 1400.

I think I'm gonna make it...

I am 231lbs and 6'2". I visit gym 3 times a week SL. I have been eating 2,4k calories since 5 of October and I haven't lost 2lbs yet. I dunno what is wrong. I am sure I count calories properly.

Why are you eating that much if you want to lose weight?
Try 1800 instead.

that might be a bit high for a diet. Basal Metabolic Rate should be around 2000cal and 2500cal is Sedentary maintenance calories.
(best to not use the higher activity number because it's easy to overestimate)

so you will lose only slowly as one cheat meal/beer/snack might fuck up a whole week. also you need to calc everything. the morning butter on the toast or oil in the pan sums up too. for example that was a reason for my plateau.

you can do that with like 3.7 kg of nuts like macadamia .

but probably not too much would happen, michael phelps ate 12k at the olympics, and ~20k are considered the metabolic limit. (stomach-blood barrier transfer) . the rest passes through undigested like corn or if you swallow a cherry pit . blood work would take a high that's probably not to healthy but should be fine if it's a rare event.

I don't want to lose my muscles thats why I cut only -500. I don't eat sandwiches because it is too long to count everything.

>is it safe

Unless you have diabetes/existing issues, yes.

You're body has put up with decades of abuse, it can take some fasting.

It was my last day at work on Friday, so there was cake and I felt socially obligated to eat it. I didn't bother eating my tea to try and offset it but I don't feel that makes up for it at all.

I ate pizza today. I-it's okay if I walk another 60 minutes later today, r-right?

Memes aside, my first cheat meal in 3 weeks. Havent eaten anything shitty in 3 weeks and I already regret eating that pizza. Maybe I wont eat pizza in a very long time

story of everyone who fasts to lose weight summed up in one line of text

Just because your will is weak don't try to project it on others
I've done three 48+ hour fasts so far and have always gone back to regular diet afterwards

Drank a twelve pack last night.

I don't count vegetables when adding up my calories

Is drinking sugar free energy drinks bad?

That's the hot question these days. It's been "linked" to weight gain but correlation=/=causation and I've yet to see a study that conclusively or even suggests artificial sweeteners are the culprit. Wouldn't be surprised if they are, but it remains to be determined.

That's just weight, though. They're horrible for you in many other regards. Enamel erosion, negative affects on cognition and sleep, and from personal experience, gastric processes, plus the possibility of addiction if the occasional user in these threads are to be believed. I'd steer clear of 'em.

lost 28kg so far.
How do I ensure I have enough energy for gym?
really struggle sometimes.

have some carbs an hour or so before you hit the gym. just pop a potato in the microwave

i had 35grams of almonds about 2h30 ago but i just feel weak.
contemplating a cheeseburger from maccas before gym.
it'll put me at roughly 7400kj for the day but I figure i'll work most of the cheeseburger off doing the cardio and the weights I do.

for reference this is the routine I do, plus I run 2400m slowly getting my time down.
I also go rock climbing indoors roughly twice a week.
reddit.com/r/Fitness/wiki/phraks-gslp

Just drink water. If you need caffiene get pills or some shit.

Every Saturday I either binge eat junk food, eat horribly fattening food at family members house, or get fast food. Every Saturday. And I know it's messing up my progress. I feel so ashamed that I stop putting it into mfp when I hit my calorie limit

Almonds are mostly fats and the bulk of the little carbs they DO have is dietary fiber followed by sugars. At 35g, that energy will take too long to metabolize and be too little energy to give you the strength you need for your workout.

>a cheeseburger
I said carbs, and you'd have to run five miles at training speed to burn that off. Just do a simple 100-120 calorie snack of carbs

Good luck

a cheeseburger is 1400kj.
2.4k's in a time of 16m10s at 73kg is 182cal/800kj according to online calculators.
so 600kj let i'll be doing abs, bench press, lat pull down, and squats.
and so far today i've had about 5800kj most likely less.

2 eggs, 1 english muffin, muesili bar (700kj), 35grams of almonds, and a marianted lamb roll thing which was possibly about 3000kj

Maybe for you since you're a weak willed faggot

t. fat and sad

BROTHERS

I hosted a D&D session today and I ate 300 grams of peanuts.

I also had about 300 calories of soda and a 122 calorie yoghurt.

My TDEE be 2,000 per day.

I just got back from the gym and I burnt 630 calories in 3 hours.

Am I going to make it?

I'm going to jump off a bridge if I have another gains day.

reminder that without the bun that burger would be a healthy source of test boosting saturated fat and quality meat protein, good for keto weight loss

>tfw not a fat fuck
>tfw ate a large pizza and a bag of sweets savoring every bite

You poor poor fat fucks.

I lift 5-6 days a week but do zero cardio. I walk about 10 miles every day at my job. Is this adequate cardio? Really hate cardio

good for you mr nogainz

>and I burnt 630 calories in 3 hours.
Those calorie burn displays are bullshit. Don't base your caloric intake over how many calories you supposedly burned doing cardio that day, you'll just overeat. Just treat it like nothing happened and go back to eating 2000 kcal/day without trying super hard to make up for it and then binging like a retard.

caffeine pills are illegal in my country LEL

but I did the 600 because I over ate earlier in the day..

Apparently the 300 grams of nuts cost me 2,000 calories then the soda was 300 and the yog was 120

So 2400 cal, that's shit I hope I came under after working so hard.

Takes more willpower to eat low cal than to eat nothing at all, since you have to confront food everyday.

Wandering around at your job wouldn't really be cardio unless your heart rate is decently elevated. But you don't need cardio to make it, just focus on your diet.

>absolute fatfuck, like 350 lbs
>decide I'm going to finally lose the weight because I'm sick of my thighs fucking killing me
>lose 50lbs, still have a long way to go obviously
>thighs no longer hurt but because my stomuch is smaller it no longer hangs over me as far so it's now constantly rubbing against me and constantly hurts

Fucking bullshit man.

It’s fast-paced walking, never wandering. But thanks user you’re right

I can bench 95kg but I lose arm wrestles to guys who don't even lift?

I try to avoid them , have a coffee instead

Underrated

>Perfectly content eating a small variety of food
>However I've noticed lately since ive started eating like that, ive been binging on weekends
>Everything that's not chicken and broccoli isn't filling and is loaded up on calories
>friend tells me I'm either missing out on certain vitamins or I'm just lonely and depressed

Whelp time to go buy some one a days :)

Been going to the gym for a few weeks now. 3 times a week. Basic strength routine. Compounds with one accessory per workout.
Starting paleo in a week.
Trying to slow up on the porn.

Fuarrrkkk

>measuring food in kJ

I use SI units, but use kcal for food.

I was actually planning on making a fat version of this wojak before you even posted it.

>it takes more willpower to eat food than not eat food

holy shit some dude posting about fasting for a few days really brings out all the retards
maybe if you stopped with the fatlogic you might actually make it one day

Divide kj by 4 to get amount in calories

keep going, there's no going back

Don't force yourself to do something you hate. But maybe you could try it once just to see how it goes. If nothing else, go back to lifting and focus on that.

>1500 kcal of junk food

kek this describes me perfectly. still I'm down about 70 lbs from where I started a year and a half ago. 30 more to go. I've landed at eating mostly frozen meals now though so I think I'm not getting a lot of the nutrition I probably should.

Can anybody recommend a good supplement/multivitamin/whatever for someone in this situation?

>Have been eating loads of bread lately
(mostly baguette, ciabatta or kaiser buns),
>After eating bread I feel fully satisfied
>I barely eat in the evening
Just yesterday for example I ate four kaiser buns with roast beef and seasalt butter for lunch and I was so full I only ate cup ramen for dinner.

Why is bread supposed to be bad for you again?

I looked myself in the mirror after binging, saw how good my face looks and made myself vomit, have I developed an eating disorder or is it just narcissism?

It’s not
