My gym has free classes on both and I want to try them out. But I am scared of being viewed as gay or even worse a creep if I take these classes since pretty much only women or gay men take them. Does anyone have experience with this?

Basically, gay guys will probably hit on you if you avoid making eye contact with females, and if you make eye contact with females gay guys will talk the most shit about you.
Just find a youtube video and do it at home.

Wow, you really worry about what other people think about you in the gym, do you?
I did it couple of times as well. Yeah, only old women and some weird males in the class. But lord, that shit was exhausting as fuck, sweat dripping down my nose. I think it is just an overall good supplement to working out, since it hits muscles in a different way. Just make sure your yoga teacher watches your form. Give it a shot and don't worry about it

It's good, light cardio, but still makes you sweat like a madman and makes your back feel great if you have any sort of backpain at all. Don't worry about being there. Nobody cares as long as you put forth the effort while you're there and continue being there. You may seem like the odd man out at first. Hell, the first day I went, the instructor went full spartan and worked everybody harder. But if you become a regular, they'll love you.

I tried a beginner's private class. There were about 10 people in it I think, 3 males including me. Pretty even split of young, middle aged and elderly people. It was alright but not really for me, worth a shot though if you think you'll enjoy it.

Pilates is great for core, stability and flexibility. It's isn't a workout, it is like dynamic stretching. It's was always meant to be treated as such. Use it to supplement lifting and you are sorted

Bring a chick friend in and tell her you want to check the class out. The girls are going to know you're not just going to look at asses, next week when you show up they'll know you're not some axe murderer trying to slither your way in.

ask your gym if they could organize some "broga" lessons; yoga aimed at men. They do that where i go and it encourages men to give it a go much faster.

>bending over is good exercise dude it's very hard!!! >sitting on the ground and touching your toes definitely makes you fit bro i fucking cringe at anyone that does yoga im 1/2/3/4 and i don't make a big deal out of it, matter of fact i keep trying to get better. my workouts don't consist of me touching my toes

Pilates is pretty cool. Went for the first time last friday and unsurprisingly, I was the only non female in the class. But don't pussy out and try the class at least once. Also don't expect a lot of qts, most of the people are gonna be older or a little chubby. Overall it was a good ab/core workout and I'm definitely gonna hit it up again.
