I have a job, if that's what you mean.

And I'm also a manager.

So I guess?

Assistant manager at a small hotel which is making a lot of money.

I want to start my own company after graduation, but i am really lost in my thoughts. What Veeky Forums do you have, OP?

Veeky Forums and Veeky Forums are the only boards I browse

M&A analyst here, going for the bateman meme

>Implying Veeky Forums is anything related to business at all and not just random assholes shilling various cryptos
mate

Veeky Forums is just a bunch of people who lack human skills in enterprise, so they follow the advice of crypto-currency trolls to mid-to-above average success.

I sure hope the crypto market doesn't crash to random high-chance world-events anytime soon.

>fuck about in school
>not particularly intelligent
>not confident or imaginative enough to start my own business
>not great with numbers, though I do try and don't avoid them
>shitty meme degree (history)
>now 27 and my only hope is working towards general management

Shit sucks.

At the very least I guess I have a good memory and a strong drive and am always consistently out performing colleagues at a similar level.

>pumping shitcoins

No thanks

crypto and lifting are fun hobbies.

quit hating.

and anyone who browsed Veeky Forums for longer than a day knows not to listen to shitcoin shills.

More movies like bateman to get into the bizfit mindset.
Is the wolf of wallstreet any good (despite dyel leo)? What about tv shows?

Business is actually not a good degree
>oversaturated means you won't make a lot of money on average
>IQ of an average business major is unexceptional coming in at 110
>workload is bullshit and just common sense
>lots of fools are studying this degree to become plutocratic meaning these will be some of the scummiest people you will ever meet. their ego is almost as bad as poli. sci majors.
>connections get you jobs not skill itself
>one of the most corruptible majors
>you aren't helping society in any way
But you suckers fall for it every time.

/biz-fit-sp-pol-a/ here

>hears the word business
>immediately thinks we're just talking about the meme degree

Know how I know you're at the latest in your early twenties and still live with your parents?

Made a discord server for those interest in shooting shit:

discord.gg/bvMAD6

>discord fags

Site would be better if you were all fucking gassed. There's like 14 posts and you're shitting out a random discord? Go on omegle if you want IM.

good taste, but
>skull servant
chump

Just expressing my disdain for business is all. Know how I know you failed 3rd grade English because you're not good at inferences?

>Professor Goldberg deposited 5 cents into your account

this

I was going to post all the boards I frequent but realized it would be embarrassingly many.....

fi/tg/uy reporting in
>tfw lifting for the emperor

...

ever thought about joining the military user? You have a degree so you could go for officer or go in as an other rank/enlisted and get a good trade and come out to a decent job.

I heard Air force or Navy is pretty /comfy/

Not lifting for Mork and Gork.

>implying Veeky Forums actually lifts
/biz-fit/ is a match made in heaven

/bizfitlitpolk/ is the ultimate board, get on my level

OMG holder here. I wish I was just Veeky Forums.

>tfw a jobless manager
how do i make it?

I'm a business major. Me and everyone else in it included are basically just mildly ambitious people who didn't find themselves in anything so we ended up here. It's a decent degree, it gets you a job and people won't judge you by it. I don't see why you have such a distaste for it, most people go to it because they want an okay degree that gets them a job.

Watch this video if you want a reason to not major in business youtu.be/nV3ZlCKboI8

>tfw bought the OMG ATH
>tfw still holding

I'm finishing my MBA this year. I have a degree in poli sci, and another in economics as well.

>"entrepreneurship, running a business well, it's all common sense"
stopped watching there

>tfw bought dnt at ath

>tfw bought and still holding
>OMG ATH
>MYST ATH
>NMR ATH
>ETH ATH
NMR hurts the most, I turned $1200 into $150

/sp/ Veeky Forums masterrace here. Occasionally /tv/ to laugh at the rampant autism.

This.

>When you're not Dark Ruler Ha Des the Chad

Veeky Forums, Veeky Forums, /pol/, /b/ and sometimes /k/. I don't live in America anymore so /k/ is pretty much useless for me

software engineer at top company. idk if im Veeky Forums though. still about 12 lbs to cut until im happy.

lol, pathetic.

>Majoring in business is stupid because of this sole book
What even is this shit? I'm not taking some bachelor of arts in business management where I focus on human resources. There's a large difference between that and a bachelor of science in business administration and economics.
I'm mainly studying macro and micro economics, law, statistics, inferential statistics, accounting and financial math. All practical stuff.

I'm a consultant and generally have douchebag friends like in American psycho that drag me around to waste money buying tables at clubs in NYC

I wish I was kidding, I'm a vapid husk of a man that only talks to girls who want bottle service

At a bank? Doing what kind of analysis?

BOSS PLS im but im slowly turning into you. how old are you? how do i avoid this path?

Clean your room

its pretty clean, but im moving to a different place next month, so not sure why it matters

Marketing data analyst, just got 5pl8 deadlift for 5 reps (6ft, 181 lbs)

>hexbar deadlift
pls no bully

When do they learn? buying in bull market...

I am literally patrick bateman

What porn is this?

t. Business majors stuck learning about "The cycle of learning".
Apparently a business management book. There's not much to business degrees because it's a degree you learn by practice except for the statistical related stuff at that point you might as well study statistics.
>studying economics
Watch this youtu.be/l4uzNo_w9fc

Why are you letting some manchild on youtube argue for you, is this a genuine person you look up to? Rethink this slightly.
He calls himself smart, you can babble about how every single degree is a waste of time, he didn't seem make connections, didn't take internships or picked a job he liked to an extent.
>You should not study economics because banking can be corrupt
This was like half of the video, what a horrible argument, you think I haven't read about that and know about it, you think I'm not prepared for it? This person is just showing ignorance and how unprepared and stupid he was. Of course I know the finance industry is corrupt.
His last point obviously showed that he picked something he didn't enjoy, many contractors dream about office jobs and many office workers want to be contractors. I've done labor during the summer and am much happier with working in an office job having the energy to do activities, sports, swimming or lifting afterwards instead. It's a case of the grass being greener on the other side.
I'm in the top 10% of my other students and will be getting an upper-middle class job where I can support my future family. Why does my degree matter to you so much?

Pic related

I dabble in Veeky Forums from time to time.

Going to uni for a bachelor in economics this spring at 20

I don't go to Veeky Forums but I enjoy talking about business.

I’ve been there a couple times and the only threads are Cryptocurrenct related

Veeky Forums is literally just a bunch of pre-teens jerking each other off over monopoly money

coincidence?

>Well performing students get jobs
Wow what a surprise. Your post seems to be ad hominem and don't touch his points of corruption. Furthermore your post is chalk full of anecdotal evidence yet you claim to be in the ten percent. I find that claim hard to believe. You think the average person isn't getting fucked up the ass? It's because the rich, smart and talented which you claim to be at least one don't give one damn about the middle class. But I'm not here to talk about economics I'm here to talk about business, you can choose to heed my advice whether it applies to you or not.

If it doesn't apply then congrats you have gamed the system and made enough Reddit connections to get a job and support yourself and your future family off the backs of hard-working integral Americans.

NOT FUCKING SELLING

Veeky Forums is truly pathetic. There's nothing to learn from that board, no actual discussion of economics or finance, just a bunch of retards playing the crypto-lottery with pocket change and expecting to make it big.

Veeky Forums is by far the most fun to be had on this website.

I don't care if you believe me or not and I'm not denying the fact that the average person is getting fucked in the ass. I'm the same person as
I'm in business and economics because it seems like a mildly safe route for someone with a focus on math, especially a well performing student. I will likely start with some kind of analyst job. I wish I had ambition towards something special but I'm some incredibly apathetic fit guy in his early twenties living in a dead and materialistic post-modern world.
I just hate morons like the dude I was arguing with, just simply hating and not really understanding my points or giving any other solutions. This will get me an okay office job where I can work alone for the most part, that's what I seem to currently want.
>off the backs of hard-working integral Americans.
I'm European and what makes labor-workers, fishermen, etc any more hardworking than me? You need people who buy and sell in a capitalistic society and those who manage in any kind of establishment.

I mostly agree with you, but you're 100% wrong on one thing. I've been lucky enough to move from my job as a labourer to an office management position, and I can GUARANTEE that you have it far easier than them. It's not even fucking close, labor work will ruin you if you do it long enough.

I've worked three times in labor during my summers, I fixed walls and paint the outside of houses and government owned buildings. It's physically tiring yes but I'm still working my ass off here. If it would pay as well as my current path I wouldn't mind having stayed there to be honest.

He's lying. Everyone claims to be from M&A

Veeky Forums was absolutely useless on this question, but does anyone know conceptually how one gets a consumer electronics business off the ground? Do you just take some schematics and software to manufacturers in Asia? Are there intermediate companies that handle this?

Senior year finance student here familia. Interned in private equity and for a major movie studio. Will probably end up working in entertainment finance.

>entertainment finance
goooooood goy
