>le wars are lost at home

The Democratic Republic of Viet-Nam and the Republic of South Viet-Nam defeated the Republic of Vietnam, but did not defeat the United State of America.

America wasn't defeated, they withdrew. There is a different.

Wtf does this term even mean. It isn't stabbing in the back to decide that a war is vastly mote.costly than what it is worth. War should never exist for its own means it is a.tool not a goal.

No shit it was.

Why are there swastikas on WW1 German soldiers?

They used them

like they gave up, forfeited the field

No, its an actual example of a country stretching too thin and backing down before its too late.
The USSR should've backed from Afghanistan earlier and continued to exist in a similar fashion.

The Americans had a military objective. The Vietkong had a military objective. Some fighting was done. The Americans didn't get their objective, the Vietkong got theirs. This is a lost war for USA and a won war for Vietkong.

FUCK YEAH!

The Vietnam war was stupidity. They couldn't fight the war directly, because that would escalate the conflict. So an outright invasion of North Vietnam, or nuclear weapons, are right off the table. So theyre constrained to fight the war, and that makes it much more difficult to win.

It was more like a country stabbing a minority group (the pro-war elites) in the back.

Americans fucked around with their air superiority and didn't have any real measurement for success than body counts so they were bound to lose to dedicated nationalists fighting for their own country. The sad reality of the matter was that North was fighting for their unification and independence while South were fighting for Americans.

LMAO

These are fantastic

No you fucking Yankboo, America was defeated.
>Withdrawl of all American and American Lead Forces
>South Vietnam annexed
>Communist Governments put in power

America lost. Everything they were fighting to stop went ahead and happened. Their own country suffered as a result of this, their veterans were shamed, and their influence in the region was annihilated.
America lost the Vietnam war and to deny this is utter delusion.

they lost because the ppl saw them as brutal invaders and supporters of corrupt fuckfaces

>Some fighting was done. The Americans didn't get their objective, the Vietkong got theirs.
The Viet Cong was annihilated in the '68 Tet Offensive, and ceased to exist as a coherent force, which was fine with the North Vietnamese, who like Stalin at Warsaw, didn't want an armed group of irregulars around when they finally took over.

>large swathes of the populace getting fed up with sending thousands to die propping up a morally bankrupt foreign government that had no possible hope of standing on its own two feet and thus doomed the war to continue in perpetuity is stabbing your country in the back

Saigon wasn't worth a single drop of American blood, end of story.

>le stopping at Warsaw meme
