Mental illness is why I had to get a home gym.

Rarely when doing OHP I would get a sudden pain in my neck and have to move it very slowly for a couple of days or face the pain. No idea what caused it, pulled muscle or Trappe nerve

What was probably a partial RC tear. Tried to save a shitty circus DB attempt I should have dumped and ended up getting my shoulder yanked backwards/dropping the damn thing edge-first on my upper back.

slightly hurt my lower back trying to PR deadlift once, most certainly did some cat back arching shit. Other than that nothing bad really, I hurt my knee once doing some plyometrics with my ex girlfriend but not too serious.

Injured my right hand side erector spinae while doing pullovers with bad form (derp) a year ago.
Hurt fucking crazy like a herniated disc although everything was fine regarding my spine, even hat spasms in my trunk the evening of the injury.

Body went into full compensation mode and made my pelvic bone tilt to the point where my rigt gluteus medius got so tense it kept the tilt even after the muscle healed.
Didn't realise the back pain I still had was due to literally being butthurt even after my back was healed, but once I realized and started massaging my ass the back pain went away in less than a week.

TL; DR: If you have pain without actual structural damage look out for possible culprits down the kinetic chains involved.

Tennis elbow that I had for nearly a year because too stubborn to let it heal.

Some kind of tendinopathy in my knees, probably caused by a combination of overuse and insufficient warmup. Took 2-3 months of rest, physical therapy, and multiple daily icings to get more or less back to normal. Just started squatting, deadlifting, etc. again this week. Feels bad to be stuck doing linear progression with babby weight again, but I did miss deadlifting.

My friend made me flip tires with him when I first started working out and it fucked up my lower back permanently, probably due to bad form. This was over 2.5 years ago and it still hurts to this day. If I have to bend my lower back I'll be in pain for the next few hours

If you go for the rep and you can feel your back going, if you can't even have good form on the initial lift off, just don't bother. Its not worth hurting your back for noob gains.

Meniscal tear doing suicides. It fucking hurt at first, but I finished the set in decent time. Leg started to swell pretty fast after that, couldn't walk the for the next two days.
