Work 45 hrs a week + 1 hr commute a day

>Work 45 hrs a week + 1 hr commute a day

>Haven't been to the gym in 3 months
>Not even making enough money to justify this lifestyle (~$40k/year)
>Constantly stressed, zero time for anything

So 10 hours a day work + commute
Let's say 8 for sleep

What do you do with the other 6 hours?

I work 40 with 2 hour commute a day and lift 5 times a week, what the fuck are you doing with your spare time

not him, but i imagine he tries to take shits, eats, and cries

I used to do 70 hours Monday to Friday across two jobs. I still fit in 40 minute sessions on 4 out of 5 days. Wouldn't ever reccomend it because I was tired all the time but The consistency made me stronger than I've ever been.
Sort your shit out senpai.
168 hours in a week and you spend 55 traveling and attending work.
Assuming you sleep 8 hours a day your still left with 57 free hours a week.

Life's dragging it's balls on your face, like It does with everyone. You're simply just going out of your way to accept It.

>work 40 hours a week
>2 1/2 hours total commute per day
>making 40k plus commision
>in the gym 5 days a week
>feel great
>making gains and getting girls
>losing fat
>church every sunday morning
I feel a bit under the weather today because I'm pretty sure i ate some bad chicken. Step up brah you can do it we believe in you

Don't know how people can stand to spend so long commuting. I turned down a job offer with significant pay rise last year because it would have tripled my commute and I just couldn't do it to myself.

>"I’ve always figured out that there 24 hours a day. You sleep six hours and have 18 hours left. Now, I know there are some of you out there that say well, wait a minute Arnold, I sleep eight hours or nine hours. Well, then, just sleep faster, I would recommend"

Just sleep faster guys, you can save 2 hours a day by sleeping faster.

There are 168 hours in a week. You work 45 and drive 5, and we'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you sleep 8 hours a night (56 per week), and spend an hour a day on cooking, eating, and hygiene.
This leaves you with 55 hours. You're telling me you can't spend 10 percent of that time at the gym?

>high school dropout
>never had a real job
>own 3 properties
>sell mushrooms as a hobby
>work less than 8 hours a week, most of that time is commute
>chill ppl for 2 hours a day at home gym
>mfw i see wagies complaining about not having free time or bragging about salary at their tech startups

Work less
Stress less
Meditate
Don't constantly run to the next thing, you'll be amazed at how much time you have
It will take practice tho, meditation most days for the next couple of weeks at first

Bad advice for natties

In order to remedy this I pack a bag of gym clothes with me and don't go right home after work because, if I do, there's a 0% chance I'm hitting the gym.

>3 properties
what is your net worth?

How do you own 3 properties working so little as a high school dropout? Trust fund baby or just a really good dealer?

Franco plz, listen to my advices

Which would've made your commute how long, exactly?

>Stronger
It probably took years off your life depending on what jobs you had

Consider quitting porn if you haven't already. Adding that in to your lifestyle is going to fuck your executive functions I'm and you need them to plan workouts and meals to make gains.

~120, all SFH in low income area (upstate NY). only one is paid off and I inherited that one.

yeah sort of. got very lucky with obama's 8k tax credit and 3.5% FHA down payment. used $20k inheritance in 2009 to buy my first house before inheriting my second. bought the third in 2014. it really should have been faster but I just didn't want to work to speed up the process. they aren't big earners but I have annual lease tenants in both of them and they don't cause any problems.

>just a really good dealer
haha just culinary mushrooms. shiitake and oyster caps. check it out sometime, growing mushrooms is super rewarding and a unique experience.

i hope you commit suicide

kek. I just had images of some dude walking up to the real estate agents with baggies full of magic mushrooms hanging out of his pockets and a brown paper bag full of cash.

Well that's a pretty unique side hustle I'd never heard of before.

>Work less
Yeah ok.

You can be Veeky Forums off $20,000/yr. If you can work less and still make that much, it's an option.

BOOOO HOOO! Oh whoa is poor little you. No one who lifted has ever had it as bad as you! Nope, nobody!

Lol you're a pussy

I work 42 hours a week with a 1.5hr commute and still train after work every day

Oh and my job is night shift

Guarantee you're an entitled millennial

>45hrs/wk + 1hr commute a day

Bro, that's literally my exact schedule (assuming you mean 1 hour commute each way) and I work out minimum 5 days/wk. Bring a gym bag with your shit to work, then go directly to the gym after you get off, makes it so you can't skip.

>Not even making enough money to justify this lifestyle (~$40k/year)

That's the shittiest excuse I've ever heard. Find a $10/mo shit gym by you if you're that desperate. Or suck it up and do bodyweight shit since that's free.

Make excuses all you want, this one's 100% on you.

>Worked 6 days a week 12 hours a day
>Getting ready for work was about 1 hour
>Commute was 2 hours round trip
>Slept 8 most nights
>1 hour left for just me
>Bought weights
>Used that 1 hour to lift at home

I would come home and eat and then start lifting. Social life didn't matter since I had none outside work anyway.

Just

If your daily commute is more than 30 minutes, than you seriously need to find another job.

If you're commuting one or two hours a day and you make under 40k gross, then you're basically making less than minimum wage.

Why don't you faggots just move closer?

Can't speak for op but I just bought my house last year and I don't really want to move as I like where I live a lot.

>live in a comfy gated neighborhood 10 mins away from work
>work 40-45 hours a week
>make $140k before taxes

>live in a comfy neighborhood 5-6 mins away from work
>work 32 hours a week
>make $22k before taxes a year
not going to the gym because feel like i dont have time, wanna kms

guarantee some of you saying "just fucking toughen up and do it" either aren't in a relationship or have any social life.
I have 4 jobs (2 casual, 1 christmas period, 1 freelance) as well as studying full time and gym 5-6x per week as well as having a social life and living with my partner.. shit is not easy. At the end of the day it's all about priorities and if being ripped is important then you'll do it, if being social and getting mental and emotional gains is important then you'll do that too.

Not op but I imagine going to shops, groceries cleaning, preping food, taking dumps

>Work 40 hours a week with a comfy 20 minute walk commute at a warehouse
>20k minimum wage but for some reason has a free gym membership to a super expensive ((60e a month)) gym.

I love it, sure, I'm barely making any money but the work is only really busy around the holidays, good stuff.

>Work 40+ hours a week
>1 hour commute each way
>Make 34k per year, no commission
>Have wife and 2 kids. 5 yrs and 14 months
>Spend at least 2 hours with my family before bedtime plus 1 hour with my wife after kids go to bed
>Still work out 3 times a week, sometimes 4
>Drive for Uber in spare time for extra monies

lol I get 15k neetbux a year and have no rent/bills/food expenses

>he doesn't work 65+ hours a week without counting commute

Why aren't 24h gyms the standard

pisses me right the fuck off

capitalism at it's best innit

All this people saying shit like "I work 45+ hours and workout everyday" are dorks without any social life. Good luck working 50+hours/week lifing 5 + times/ week and having a social life, you fucking dorks

Most of that can be done in 2 hours

>40h/week
>1h commute each way
>university every two weekends
>Church every friday and sunday every two weekends
>gym no less than 3times a week
>never felt better

Try harder

i just go to my time chamber sleep for nine hours and come back

his fault for picking a dumbass path not captilism ;)

Under communism, he would have been considered bourgeois and sent to be forced to work on some farm that would inevitably fail because they've already sent all the actual farmers to death camps. Then all the rural folk would eat him. Then they'd eat their children. Then they'd die.

I have thought about growing and selling mushrooms, how do you get in contact with the right restaurants? Just call a round? How much do you have to grow to sell?

>35 work week
>20min car drive to work
>way to much free time
>never stressed

hehe

A very wealthy man once told me, everyone gets 8 hours to work and 8 to sleep. What you do with the other 8 decide what kind of person you'll become.

Even with your commute you get 6 free hours. You can clean on the weekends in the morning and even with a whole house of work to do you can knock that out in a few hours. Also meal prep is a thing and I'm sure you get a lunch break so if you mealprep on the weekend too you can eat at work/on the way home. What's stopping you from boiling/scrambling eggs and peeling them ahead of time and eating them on the way home? Hell you can even make cup meals like stir fry or home made soup and literally drinkeat them from a thermos with one hand while driving. You can shave and brush your teeth in the shower also saving time. Doing shit like putting clothes away together, outfits already built for work/play when you do laundry etc etc etc I could go on.

Youre just not managing your time very well OP.

>A very wealthy man once told me, everyone gets 8 hours to work and 8 to sleep. What you do with the other 8 decide what kind of person you'll become.

That's a decent way of looking at it

There's a quote out there by Arnold Schwarzenegger about time management. I can't find it, but basically find places where you can shave off some time until you've got yourself a nice hour or two to lift.

>tfw just got a job with uber riding my bike and can work as much or as little as I want
>tfw I got an accounting job I can work from home lined up for me in may

No solution, but I care. Hang in there man.

>work at UPS
>holiday season coming up, handing out overtime like candy at halloween
>benefits out the ass
>still live with mom
>just saving up plenty of money for whatever venture I feel like going into later
>work day over by 9AM unless I feel like volunteering for more overtime
>fuckloads of free time, take advantage of /SIG/ threads
>feeling pretty good about myself when other anons have a 'who has it hardest' contest

Who knew not falling for the family life meme would work out this well?

Because it's expensive to have multiple employees on at a graveyard shift for the one or two people who feel like lifting at 1 am.

>do less things so you can have more time to lift
wow
truly a high iq man

I hear ya brother.
Full-time job, long commute, wife, kids, chores/responsibilities.... I'm lucky if I can watch a half hour tv once a week.
