I’ve been doing incline bench in place of flat because my chest is lagging bad. I’m stalling at >1pl8 st about 3-4 reps per set. Is it more likely a form issue or am I not eating enough?

I haven’t been following a program because I only just finished my practicing for running. I’m thinking of starting a PPL or something similar, but my availability concerns me. Aside from SS, what are good 3days/week programs for beginner lifters? I could do SL, but I want to know what else there is. I’ve done SS for about a year on and off (off being dedicating time to running 4days/week) so I know what it does for me and I’m not too happy with it.

Seems to be recognized as an informal substitute for "well", though.

Greg Nuckols' 28 free is pretty bomb, especially for bench (isn't half bad for deadlift either). Overall though, it doesn't matter too much which beginner program you choose because they all are about the same in terms of results. Just so you know, you're gonna struggle a lot more to increase your incline bench compared to your flat, so don't go in expecting amazingly fast progress. Upper body lifts will progress slower than the lower body lifts in general, but because it focuses more on triceps and shoulders than normal flat bench would. IMO, incline isn't better for overall chest development. It might be better for the clavicular head of the chest compared to flat bench, but flat bench 100% blows it out of the water with the sternal head. Do what you want though, because I'm just some attention whore on a mongolian cow trading forum.

set up a camera side on. Do slow tempo pause squats and gradually increase the weight for a few reps and sets. Re watch. You want the weight to stay roughly over mid foot. See what you're doing wrong and correct it

Something is lagging behind if you're shifting balance. Usually quads. You can fix this by doing a lot of quad assistance or take a more technical approach to it, go slower and focus on it.

Been doing nuckols' programs for bench, squat, dl (and kind of Ohp). week 3 now
I'm worried about the volume going down to much as I near the new 1RM
like, my bench 1rm I put in was 90ish kg, which was 80x5, and on week 3 day 1 I had 80kg 3x1. I did more, but I barely did 3, feels like I'm going backwards honestly...1 bench day and one close grip day hardly seems enough
same for the squat, I had 120kg 3x1, did 3x3 because I was doing 5 reps of that weight before I started
DL seems alright, my DL is laughable because I did nowhere near enough volume, so I cant complain
also how am I supposed to pick the new 1RM? should I even test a true 1rm? seems like a better idea to go for a 2 or 3 rm
