I have diffuse thinning that is starting to get pretty bad, but not very much receding. I had a pretty severe skin reaction to minoxidil, so that isn't an option. Would fin work in my case? Does it help hair regain lost thickness in cases of diffuse hair loss or does it just slow the thinning?

I personally use either Old Spice pomade or Tea Tree shaping cream. They smell good, they feel good, they keep my hair soft and fluffy, rather than making it hard, sharp, and flaky like gel.
