Beta Carotene

Lets have some supp talk.

Would taking Beta Carotene supplements in the 25k IU range be bad for me on a long-term basis? Several studies have said that it gives you a healthy glow (1.) I want to avoid over accumulation of vitamin a since it's fat soluble.

Vitamin A can be toxic. I suggest you don't take supplements unless you have a deficiency.

You can get that glow from sweet potatoes and carrots.

I know u can get it from them, but I dont eat them often enough to get it. I can just take supps.

I have heard people say that beta carotene is just a precursor to vitamin a, therefore you cant overdose on it. Is this true?

Yeah b carotene is safe to take. You can't overdose.

but can I overdose on all the poontang im gonna get with a beautiful orange FACE???

"user ur looking HEALTHY!"

Yeah, vitamin A can be toxic, but he's talking about beta-carotene. You can't actually OD on beta carotene, it'll just literally turn you orange.

LOL

Eat some fucking sweet potatoes then retard.

I took it for a while and it worked well with astaxanthin (gives you a pinkish coloring).
