Man, they're some of the people that should be lifting the most.
One of my patients also goes to my gym and he's got a muscular dystrophy. He's incredibly dedicated, I've never seen anyone put in as much effort as him. Of course he's lucky to be lifting the same amount each week instead of less, but fuck the benefits are incredible. His disease is progressing far slower than all the data suggests and he's maintaining his independence far better than anyone would expect.
