The US did lose Vietnam. Stop being such a pussy and accept defeat to a superior foe.

>F.D.R. wasn't a good president
This is a litmus test for pleb opinion. The pleb will always out himself by implying FDR was somehow a bad president.

Not op but he's not wrong. Communism failed and Vietnam fell to capitalism and American consumerism. Plus, we didn't lose we just realized it was futile to keep fighting.

>industrial revolution was good because muh life expectancy increase

GTFO primitivist

I'd agree with the first two statements, the third is highly subjective from what "worst" can be defined as; my pick would go to Pol Pot. The sheer extent of destruction caused - with the relatively small amount of resources and manpower in comparison to Stalinist Russia, Hitler's Germany, or Maoist China - is just incredible.

>Hitler did nothing wrong
>Germans are civilized
>The US civil war wasn't about slavery

>Romans were civilized
>Hitler was concerned about white people in general
>The US should not have invaded Vietnam

>The U.S. lost to Vietnam
They didn't, they were fighting with (a) Vietnam after all. They did, however, lose in Vietnam

>Communism failed and Vietnam fell to capitalism and American consumerism
This doesn't mean that the US government won the war. This is such a huge stretch.

If the US won Vietnam why did they have to evacuate the country? Why did the people they were fighting end up establishing a nationwide government? Why are you a retard?

>The US should not have invaded Vietnam
>muh domino effect
I'd post a brainlet wojak pic, but I don't actually have any

Futile, or unnecessary?

>The U.S. lost to Vietnam
Saigon fell to the Communists, this is indisputable.

>F.D.R. was a good president
t. Cletus Lee Beauregard IV

>Hitler was the worst person in history
If not the worst then he's runner-up or top 3. It's not the death toll, it's the manner in which he did what he did and how he implemented it that makes him so heinous.

>thinly vieled "w-we didn't lose vietnam"

US LOST VIETNAM WAR
EVERYTHING THEY FOUGHT TO STOP HAPPENING HAPPENED
THEY WITHDREW ALL THEIR TROOPS
AND ALLOWED THE ENEMY TO ACCOMPLISH ALL OF THEIR GOALS

The US lost Vietnam, just like it Iraq and Afghanistan.
FDR was perhaps the greatest in history, right up there with Lincoln and Washington.
Hitler was one of the worst people in history, and arguable the worst person if you consider *how* he did what he did. Several years of systemically trying annihilate a nation of people - like a factory that produces death - that's a strong contender for worst person.

It does is you're Ukranian

>US won Vietnam
>Their goal was to stop Vietnam from becoming commie
>We continually are pushed back and suffer heavy losses despite a more advanced military
>Vietnam becomes communist
Yeah we totally won
>We didn't surrender, we left
If you're getting beat up in a fight and you run away, that means you lost.

Pleb opinions, you say?
>The US didn't lose the Vietnam war
Probably one of the most plebian, wheraboo-tier levels of apologeticism and denial I've ever seen, in addition to being a very plebian opinion.

He was touching his penis!

This is like setting the capture of a fort as your objective: sure, you failed miserably to take the fort, but the fort didn't take you haha lol so you don't lose for some reason

>one unsourced paragraph tells the whole story
China: hunger
NK: hunger
Ukraine: hunger
Cambodia: hunger
Early Soviet Russia: hunger
