Lifting will only truly make you happy if there is a solid use for the fruits of your labor. you have to test yourself. MMA is an obvious go-to example because of the nature of the sport (you are essentially relying on your body only and maybe a gameplan which will probably go to shit) but obviously there's a billion other great sports to choose from. You could even count sex but unless you're single/not looking for a relationship that sport won't last long because theres just not enough females that can keep up at that level without it being a one sided affair, and if you go the gigalo route you'll also be doing most of the work for half the fun.

I've been here for five years and watched countless anons give up, lose interest, or just lazily progress because theres no 'need' and the second some 5/10 lays them two nights in a row it's all over and they've accomplished all they set out for. Don't be that guy. No one knows what that guy is doing right now because what that guy is doing doesn't matter anymore.
