Hello people of fit, I need help bulking

I've read the sticky, and I'm not seeing gains

Hello, I'm trying to bulk and gain weight, I've been working out for 7 or so months so far but have only gained 5 lbs MAX. I've been eating protein powder and eating more food. I've been pushing harder on weights but I just can't gain that weight. I'm 5 10 and only 130 lbs on a good day.

I'm trying to gain weight and muscle before I join the military at the end of hs. (I'm 18 calm down) but ffs nothing is working. It's it my age? I'm I just an autist? I've gotten more toned but no weight.

Plz help.

I'm going to the gym now. I'm going to stay in thread

EAT MORE

You're not being enough of an autistic.

Do you have a food scale? Have you been counting calories? Have you been weighing yourself each week?

If you haven't been counting calories and weighing your meats, you have zero place to complain about not gaining weight if you haven't put literally the slightest amount of effort into quantitatively ensuring that you're eating a sufficient caloric surplus.

Also, I know for a fact that you didn't read the sticky, because this exact thing is mentioned several times in it.

Alternatively, we also know that you haven't even been bothering to track or write down your meals at all, because if you had bothered to, you could have just kept adding to it till you gained.

Good job for avoiding putting the slightest bit of effort into your diet.

This, calculate your daily intake for a few days to so you can see how much you are actually taking in

Track ALL calories with MyFitnessPal (including oils, seasonings, drinks). Weigh your food and track it as closely as possible. Calculate your TDEE and then add 500 calories to that. Aim to eat that many calories.

How many calories do you on average consume daily?

working out doesnt grow muscle eating grows muscle

your not eating so your not adding weight stupid shithead

Since youre too lazy to count calories senpai, eat enough to make you shit three times a day at the very least

You're not even going to defend your bullshit with a reply, OP?

Alright eat more got it, I don't count just estimate. I eat more than anyone else in my family.

I'll download my fitness pal now.

Maybe it's been a long time since i read the sticky and I forgot, I'll review.

I know I know I need to track my shit. I'm on it

"YOU FUCKING EAT MORE"

I was driving sorry

Op

I eat until I'm stuffed at every meal. And snack when I'm hungry in between. I'll start to track calories and such. But how do I be more hungry? I already eat rich af food so I don't think that's the problem. How do I get myself to want to eat more?

Yes, count your calories. Preferably count grams of proteins, carbs and fat, so you can make sure you get a decent amount of all.

* Incoming broscience - skip it if you allergic to experience. *

If you're young, you may need to stick to a big surplus for a longer time, before your suspicious body realize it actually has tons of calories to play with and goes into a more anabolic state.
Dropping out here and there over the weekend, or for other reasons may disrupt it.

eat every 2 hours after you get up and until you go to sleep

Alright this makes sense. How do I weigh food without looking like an autist? Is there no way? Good advice thank you

Idk how I double posted but alright

Try weigh the most common things so you get a feel for density/volume and weight.
Make small notes for "one-two-three small/medium/midsized potatos" and so on.

Do it a lot and after a while you get pretty good at estimating how much it is.
Then you can just guesstimate those family dinners and perhaps sneak a photo to use for later.

Thank you thank you. Time to eat all the food

Shit like this makes me wonder how are people fucking fat?

It's really easy to be fat. Insanely easy. You just have no appetite.

The only way I can avoid being fat is doing OMAD and restricting my meal to chicken, eggs, and beans/rice. Otherwise, it's absurdly easy for me to pound 4000+ calories in just oats, chicken and eggs alone everyday. The moment you add any sort of junk food or anything particularly calorie dense it just fucks my shit up. The funny thing is I've never been particularly fat. I just fucking love to eat, to the point t that if I'm not actively restraining myself I'll eat till I'm too sick to move.

Damn son, that's weird to me. Anyways good job on that willpower, you are a stronger man than I
