Theses estrogen like substances competitively block your estrogen receptors, just like caffeine blocks your adenosine receptors.

user here had it almost right. phytoestrogens (plant estrogens) don't completely block estrogen, but they do compete with it. They are also orders of magnitude weaker, meaning that you wind up with an overall lower effect.

I'm just going by what I do to boost T and max upperbody gainz and suggesting the opposite :^)

yea lifting is fine. you probably want something like a normal strength program with more lower body focus, say maybe (just making this up don't take it as authoritative):

A: squat/[upper body]/hip thrust
B: squat/calf raise/rdl

or something like that, where upper body is alternating bench/ohp. AxBxAxx. this is if you're on hormones, if not just stick with cardio, you're more likely to fill out in a way you don't want, and lifting promotes testosterone production. yoga's good for flexibility either way

(I'm a tranny and just do a normal men's routine, but I have a sort of butch dyke thing going on and I take it this is not what you are looking for. my gf just does running/yoga but she has a thing for being weak)
