Technically speaking the other man was cucking the slut which ended the relationship before he even showed up. Vegeta got stuck with a woman so shit that she had to try and summon a magical dragon to WISH for a boyfriend, then was so shit that said boyfriend cucked her despite previously being terrified of women.

Goku is a martial arts master whom has trained under multiple other masters. Vegeta is a manlet brawler who is only above mediocrity due to Saiyan genetics and later only excels by badly imitating whatever Goku does.
