I cant tell you how many times I saw NYRs benching just the bar for either 20 sets of 5, or 3 sets of however many they can get to 20, 14, 16 all with incredibly bad for taking 30 plus minutes to make no gains. like if they new what they were doing and didn't just take up space and waste everyone's time it'd be better

Get a pull-up bar unless you are a fatass (mine is rated to 200 or 220 pounds, I forget which). Push ups, pull ups, chin ups, diamond push ups, pistol squats, lunges, deep step-ups, hanging leg raises, planks. Get comfortable doing these and you will have a decent enough strength base to lift more than just the bar when you go to the gym in February or March.

New people in the gym are cool with me. New resolutioners that are wasting their time and everyone else's can fuck right off. I go to a PLing gym now, so hopefully we don't get a bunch of fags after Jan 1st. Maybe 1% of them will stick with it.

my gym seemed more full than other days, but everyone looked like a usual customer, just they all now are on break and have time to go
