Where does Veeky Forums work and how does go in conjunction with your physical fitness?

Ausfag Navy
I have had more shitty senior sailors who frown upon going to the gym than ones that encourage it

US Army Infantry

Lots of running, too tired to lift after work. But fit nonetheless

Skateboard for a living, so it’s a good leg workout

Was in the Muhreens, now I do part time work for a moving company

Dont know if colleges in other parts of the world do this, but i live in chile and there's these guys that have to "check" that the teachers are actually doing their work and attending their classes etc, so i basically walk around the campus for 7 hours a day. My smartwatch registers 14-16k steps depending on the day so it's a pretty active job plus i get access to the gym for free

i'm currently a shitty retail serf; obviously, nobody gives a fuck about me there so long as i show up and maintain a pulse

upcoming contracting gig is remote data architecture shit. remote work is nice; i can do it when during the day i so please, so i can also hit the gym when i feel like it, i.e., during less busy hours

Software engineer.

I make bank, but still insecure.

I unload trucks part time. Whether it be full of boxes with merchandise to furniture trucks, mattress trucks etc. I get to squat and move fast, just use my whole body. Cardio and endurance is helpful but so is strength.

I work in a pizza place. Sometimes I have to carry bottles to the refrigerator and of course it's light weight for me. The other workers mire.

What de heck is data architect. This obviously sounds technical, but what do you guys do? Design dB schemas?

I work under the table at an auto body shop. Decent amount of lifting but you get pretty resilient to it quick

I’m a game programmer for a middle-sized studio.

Obviously being fit doesn’t help me at all with my work, but it does help me feel better being physically superior to the horde of numales at this place.

Programmer here also, seconded
Being the only one fit person with numales, manlets and fatties is pretty gud

>being physically superior to the horde of numales at this place.

Also software engineer here. That is what keeps me motivated to get up at 4AM to work out.

Illustrator. I lift a pen and my ass from the chair from time to time. Also, coffee cup curls. So, yeah, it's breety gud.

groundskeeping, enjoyable labour where me no have to think good

never going back to desk jobs

This is why I changed my career, didn't wanna be in a school full of nu-male fucks. It was too depressing for me

CNA, I wipe old peoples butts and put them in wheelchairs

Construction (plastering, tile work, drywall installation, etc.) being fit helps alot as I have to carry 65-90lb bags of plaster daily

Got promoted from welder to deskcuck. It's been very counter productive. I've had to start doing cardio and cut my TDEE.

Cut my calories, rather.
You know what I fucking meant.

Engineer. The silver lining is i regularly have to walk across the campus regularly and get to at least be on my feet half the day on top of that.

Doesn't sound like much but weight that against full-time sitting.

I'm a farmhand for some pistachio groves. Pretty physical work, especially during harvest.

NEET

push trolleys at a shitty supermarket. I'm so used to being a neet and having 16 hours a day to find time to eat so it's becoming impossible to gain weight. but it's pretty active work and I'm getting close to visible abs which is cool. Also I can listen to audiobooks for most of the day

Work for gov. A lot of paper-pushing, PowerPointing, and traveling.

It's not so bad when there is a gym on whatever base I am at.

same here, but in ER so I don't really do that anymore. More IV, phlebotomy, EKG and stuff like that. I'm also a manlet so doing compressions on my tip toes gives me a nice calf/glute workout.

Man i have an actual job now (went to college and got software job) but i miss working at shitty retail stores so much

>go outside and push carts in the sun
>go inside and socialize with all the other young employees who don't gaf
>get invited to coworker parties
>meet random groups of people like the 5 iraqi christian refugees who all work there for some reasob
>dgaf if you show up late or get yelled at cause you're making 7.25-8.25

Only bad part is being broke and not having health insurance unless youre still on your parents

Work from home/engineer

I'm a mailman. Walk 8-10 miles every day.

Cutting is a fucking breeze. But keeping, let alone increasing quad and ham size is really hard. Calves have grown a fuckload though. Upper body is largely unaffected.

How did you become one? What do you draw?

Electrical Engineer. Currently working in Papua New Guinea living in the jungle and installing radar/radio equipment for aircraft.
It keeps me active but the diet isn't the healthiest in terms of nutrients.

I save up neetbux for most of the year then use it for sex tourism

Bartender and cooked at a strip club.

Builtfat AF. Women don’t care because I’m funny.

Translator.

It's horrible, all the sitting killed my aerobic metabolism.

Gym six days a week still. Forgot to mention. I do full body every day and just change how I hit everything.

I graduated in a design school and started working where I was a trainee. It doesn't pay much and I still live with my parents. I draw mostly HUD elements for now but I did some characters and backgrounds before.

I own a coffee bike. I have to ride it around and lift it in and out of trucks for further trips but the actual job is standing around talking to low test dudes all day so it evens out.

Do receiving in a small warehouse, just me and two other guys. Just a bit of number crunching and lifting if I have to stack shit on pallets. Just graduated and looking for something finance-related though.

Army Reserves and field technician. Shit sucks. Driving 4hrs a day and hunching over machines all day killed my posture. Been doing heavier deads and pullups to compensate

I work in security. I am not shitting you, everyone is fat. Everyone. Its like a retirement home for fat fucks that have given up. They look at me eating quinoa, tuna and spinach like im a freak.

I work at a meatworks, as soon as I started I began eating like shit and nothing changed because it's more active than I was used to but now I'm on holidays and I've gained 7 kilos in the last few weeks. Gotta start working harder in the gym so I'm not fucked when I have a few days off.

I drive big rigs for UPS. 50 to 60 hours a week with varying starttimes ranging anywhere from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. and It changes week to week usually. It's hell on the sleep cycle. I lift sporadically because of it.

Work IT from home. Literally /comfy/ all day but no physical excersize at all so I go to the gym 6x a week

...

occupational therapist
basically a personal trainer for injured people

I work nights in network support. Being fit doesn't do too much for the job, but I'm less likely to get sick and I have more energy than my co-workers. Every day my co-workers look tired and are always coughing.

Waiter until I can get my shit together.
